Thank you for trying to explain the S shutter speed knob. Should I choose 1/30 on top dial as home base? Someone said 1/20 top knob. What gives! Someone said bottom ring is flash sync. Is that so? How would I choose an existing light in dimly lit trailer? 1/30th sec. Then bottom ring what? Still confused! I grew up with F. Is it nessasary to set bottom ring on shutter speed? Or just let it go? Thank you for trying to help. Nice presentation hope youl do follow up focus on shutter speed selection nikon S. Thank you.
@erguy63195 ай бұрын
Hi Chris, I sold my Nikon rangefinder cameras a few years ago, so I will explain how to use the low shutter speed to you by the principle of the camera design in that era, which will apply to Nikon, Leica, Zeiss etc. Look the both high and low speed dial, they both should have one speed in common, such as 1/20 sec (20), that will be the speed dial should be set . If you use speed faster than 1/20 (20), set the slow speed dial to 1/20, adjust the fast dial, such as 1/250, etc. If you want to use slower speed than 1/20, set the fast dial to 1/20, then adjust the slow speed dial, such as 1/2. For low lighting photography question, you can find some youtube videos will be more helpful. Personally, I think the cellphone or digital camera will do better job than film camera, since you can retake pictures right away if the pictures were not good. Film photography is expensive and slow today. Hope my answers help you.

Another issue can be that the valve piston does not protude far enough out, even when the stop screw in adjusted out. Pull piston out slightly with pliers and oil it then try to pump up. if it's okay, then screw in stop screw until it touches piston and tighten nut.

Hi I live in Canada too (Quebec 🥶) and just ordered the HSS622CDT1 model. 1st year with a snowblower since I got rid of the company ripping me off to clear my driveway (but saving me a lot of time tho). What do you think of my model? Thanks in advance
@erguy63197 ай бұрын
Congrats for your new Honda, My machine is about 20 years old, beside oil changes and replace the skid shoes, it still works great ( just used yesterday for the first snow storm in Cleveland). I think you get a great machine, it is not a fast and most powerful snowblower, but it is very easy to handle. I sold HS928 and kept this one many years ago. If you put in the Stabil gas treatment or drained the gas tank during the off season, you will not have any problem with the carburetor. I wish Honda still sell this clutch driving for both track and auger snowblower in the USA.

I live in Canada so we get a lot of snow. I was looking at the HSS724, but transmission problems some seem to get worries me. So I'm looking at this little snowblower which seems very reliable. Is it enough for the biggest snowstorms even if it takes more time than a more powerful machine? And how about the end of driveway pile up?Thanks.
@erguy63199 ай бұрын
I live in Cleveland, Ohio and this snowblower handles the snow storms well. I usually go out to get the snow cleaned when it reaches 10-12 inches. It will not handle the slushy snow well just like the most snowblowers. The end of the driveway is not the problem since the snowblower can climb the snow pile easily so I will get rid of the snow by layers. Not good to break the thick ice built up. I think the older HS55 doing better job for the ice since it has teeth on its augers, and has 3 positions for snow / ice. I still have the HS622 (two of them) and have no intention to buy any bigger or new one. Hope my input helps.

What does it mean you can crank the engine but the engine won't turn over????
@erguy63199 ай бұрын
Here is the definition of the turn over: When your engine starts, your battery sends an electrical pulse to your spark plugs, which causes the initial ignition. This then drives your crankshaft, which allows your engine to start moving. This is what the term 'turning over' means - it refers to the movement of the crankshaft after the initial ignition. In the video, the situation is no ignition.

I cleaned the carb and now it leaks out the vent tube when I turn the gas on.
