"Explorers" 1985 - Movie Trailer This is one of my all time favorite 80's Science-Fiction Movies with a young Ethan Hawke. R.I.P. (River Phoenix), R.I.P. (Dick Miller) & R.I.P. (Amanda Peterson) I have this on DVD. It's pretty cheesy, campy, corny, quirky, silly & has great Special Effects. It's one of my all time favorites from the 1980's. I soo much love the 80's movies soo much.....SSSSSS....

You know dudes & dudettes I almost forgot about this movie I remember watching this one a long time ago as a kid this movie had really made my day back and it still is one of my favorite one's I ever watched of three boys who put together a ship and they became the explorers of reaching space and not to mention they got to meet aliens and so yeah this is one of the good movies I ever watched wish this movie was on Netflix or Hulu or Vudu Free Watch Program or Max whichever works for me and others don't you think so dudes & dudettes.!?¡¿ ♤♡♧◇€£₩¥☆

I caught 10 minutes of this movie on cable and changed the channel. For years after I couldn’t remember the name, but I remembered the gnome. Also, for some reason, I remember this movie being way darker than it actually was. Or maybe my brain is playing tricks on me because the gnome character looks more like a rat than a small person. Or maybe I'm thinking of a different movie.🤔 I have no idea anymore.

I loved this movie as a kid. I found it intriguing. What I would love to see now is a re-make, modernized technology.... say.... a Girl this time, who engages with an A.I. personality, but she's also falling in love with her new hot neighbor guy who likes intelligent, talented women. At first she doesn't attract his attention, so she asks the A.I. to help her get his attention. Similar to a Cerrano de Bergerac kind of love triangle but this time the A. I. falls in love with the guy and starts to horn in on the girls dates with him, interrupting, making her late, diverting him to other forms of entertainment... engaging him in texting/sexting without her knowledge. He thinks its his hot neighbor girl who seems to be so smart with computers and technology, sharing similar interests, beating him at his favorite console games, etc... Eventually it all collides and the A.I. is preparing to murder the girl and take over the guy's life just to keep him close, and the girl talks the A.I. down and eventually, in pain, the A.I. discreetly disappears from their lives, leaving them to live with each other happily... and then before the end, you notice that strange things are happening to their online accounts, bank accounts, credit cards, things happening in the online world that begin to help the new couple, investments that begin to pay things off for them, lucky numbers drawn in lottery, etc..... A benevolent A.I. that starts helping humanity behind the scenes, doing things that only an anonymous, wizard-class hacker could do to help people in need. In essence, becoming a digital deity that watches over humanity from the shadows of the deep dark web.

This is easily the best cartoon theme song of all time! I’ve always thought this song could have been a hit if it was released and advertised seriously! The guy was singing his ass off! Too bad the editor left the sound effects & voices of the scenes as the song played. Kind of ruined it. I would have liked to hear the song isolated.
