Hello,
Welcome to my KZread channel. My content is a mix of Tesla, Wrestling, Sports (mainly Hockey), unboxing, tech review and more.
This channel is mainly for fun. I bought my Tesla in August 2023 and wanted to share my experience. But I've tried to expand my other interests. I love discussing sports logos, championship belt designs and playing my guitar.
Let's just throw everything and see what sticks.
Stay positive!

HAWK UTAH! For the win
I'm also in favor for it.
5:50 The Blues logo is actually supposed to be a note.
Yeah. It's a note with a wing style. Just like Flyers use a P with wings.
Canucks could always go back to the skate logo
I think it was a missed opportunity to have the Skate logo in their current colors for the Reverse Retro.
😂😂😂
Never noticed Islanders and oilers. Edmonton's is better.
They both have thwir pros and cons. Islanders is a little busier.
The Blues team name has nothing to do with the color blue, it's named after the song "Saint Louis Blues". Also, the logo is a (winged) note which should make it even more obvious.
Yes I know it's for the music genre. But it's still spelled like the color with an S at the end. That doesn't mean I hate the name Blue Jackets. Just sounds close to Blues.
I'm sayin.. The new franchise should be called the Utah Putas
So many times I've heard Calgary has no connection to 'Flames'. I actually think it's a great fit though, even if we inherited it. In 1886 on the second anniversary of Calgary being designated a Town, there was a great fire which burned much of the then very small town to the ground. The place was then rebuilt of sandstone, and as it grew became known as 'The Sandstone City'. So in no small way flames actually shaped the early identity of the city. Also the Canucks and Jets both deserve more respect too haha
I didn't know about the 1886 fire. But regardless I did rank flames pretty high. They're even higher then my Maple Leafs.
U should get a better car
Nah brah. Tesla is probably the best car today. Smooth, safe, a beauty.
6:10 This was probably the most reasonable one to be fair
You would lose your mind if you saw soccer teams. Especially clubs with their updated "modernized" logos
Not really. I like soccer logos because they're all in a shield but then they have different designs in them. I don't know too much about it but I hate the new Seattle Sounders logo and Montreal Impact had a great logo until they changed to that snowflake
All of these are a bit of a stretch...
You think 3 teams using a C logo on the crest is a bit of a stretch??
@@JustMikeDotTv I think that there is a clear cut reason why they are using a C...
Every team has a reason for why they do things. But clearly not everything was a stretch. The ones that were a stretch I pointed it out.
@@JustMikeDotTv these are all common themes in all professional sports...
Like what...
C'mon, guys. Utah Outlaws is the only correct choice.
Maybe... After Yeti
@@JustMikeDotTv Yeti is good, but Outlaws is better
But is it Utah? Vegas Outlaws, Houston Outlaws... But Utah?
@@JustMikeDotTv Utah and Outlaws somewhat rhyme
@@PigeonNintendo yeah, I guess it does. But for a state that has strict drinking laws and apparently rarely ever allowed to have games on Sunday I'm surprised Venom and Outlaws would be on there.
Yes. The Utah Yeti sounds the COOLest and I picked it in the poll.
It's the most marketable name.
Overall, there's only so many color schemes and shapes that work. I think a more interesting angle would be at overall branding. For instance, Calgary only inherited the name from when they inherited the Atlanta Flames and did nothing to associate the team with the community. The Oilers meanwhile branded around the primary industry of the region. The evolution of the Canucks logo to include the Haida nation artwork has been amazing, meanwhile Toronto and Montreal have never really evolved, just changed fonts. There's also lots of neat little details you could get into...for instance the Golden triangle in the Penguins logo is a nod to their industrial area.
I did mention the Calgary Flames name when I ranked it in my Team Name Ranking video. I didn't know about the reason for Penguins triangle, but I knew about Sharks. I didn't mention the triangle one (including) Ducks because there are so many shapes and colors teams can use. I felt Oilers and Islanders was worth mentioning because the circle, same colors and team wordmark is on the logo. 3 similarities. The reason behind this video as I mentioned in the beginning is because whatever Utah picks for their name it gets compared to current teams like Blizzard and Yeti with Colorado's branding.
Utah Mastodon
Feels too Power Rangers though.
I really like the venom name and logo but it is like the sharks logo cause they both have that stick
Yeah. Figured something different then the go to cobra theme for Venom. But Sharks, Ducks use hockey sticks. Columbus Blue Jackets original logo at that neon stick. Even Coyotes Kachina logo used a stick.
The AI Yeti logo looks very similar to the Winnipeg Ice logo... plus the same team colors and similar jersey design.
I feel Winnipeg logo was a little flat. It was good just missing something. Jerseys are the same color just different striping.
I like the yeti
Feels like that's the one it'll be.
Mammoth is an unincorporated ghost town 😂
Semi ghost town that's an hour and 20 minutes away from Salt Lake City.
Hope they do the yetis Outlaws would be fire too tho
I think even Utah management already know it's going to end up being Yeti
One you've obviously missed was the New York Islanders and Winnipeg Jets logos that they had in the 70's and 80's. Both looked looked similar with the hockey stick and the curved lettering at the bottom. Not only that, but both franchises debuted in 1972 and were in different leagues, the NHL and WHA.
Yeah I checked to see the similarities. They are similar but I was more focused on the current logos. But if I ever do a part 2 and Jets go back to that logo I would include it. But I could have included it as an honorable mention. I did want to make it 10 comparisons with a few honorable mention in case I did a part 2.
Utah Lakers (salt lake city)
You are horrible dude...give it up...uh....yeah ...uh
Thé new ui looks so good
Definitely. It's like they put new cameras in
The maple leaf as part of the logo for Toronto and Winnipeg I’ll say is a stretch, It’s Canada the maple leaf is what Canada is known for, it’s similar to why some American NHL teams have a star(s) in their logos because the star is more represented with the United States, Minnesota Wild & North Stars, Dallas, Columbus, and Nashville have a star(s) in their logos.
I actually didn't notice the Nashville one (secondary logo) but that's also taken from the Tennessee State Flag. I actually didn't realize this until after I did the video that the current Canadian flag with the maple leaf was created in the 1960s decades after Toronto. A lot of these are "stretch" it was iust something fun to look at because Utah is under a microscope with whatever name they come up with especially when comparing to Colorado.
At least I can give Dallas a pass for being 'the lone star state'. Washington also has stars by the way.
@@brianbenoit6883 yes, I mentioned Washington in the video. Unless you were referring to the OP of the thread.
Winnipeg's logo is literally that of the Royal Canadian Air Force with a jet on it...the Jets acknowledged the Maple Leafs at the time of the jersey launch for essentially letting them have a maple leaf on their jersey.
@@kj6446 thanks. I didn't know that. I googled it and there is a 2012 article. That's why I like making these types of videos because sometimes viewers can post it out in the comments
It's on the side
Thanks. I'll look for it when I drive from work.
Damn. Thanks. I can't believe I missed it.
You watch hockey for the cute jerseys & logos? 😂 Nobody gives af about this.
I watch hockey cuz I enjoy it. But as someone who did graphic design I like looking at the branding.
Agreed.. trying way to hard to find similarities lmao like leafs and flyers have players who’s names are 5 letters long.. or kings and blue jackets both have captains lmao shut up and just enjoy the game for what it is and put away the tin foil hat
I mean your example is kinda ridiculous. At least say something like Flyers and Ducks use orange or Vegas and Buffalo have swords. Or Columbus and Washington have red white and blue. Even in the end I said it's a fun silly video that Utah be Blizzard or Yeti even if it's similar to Colorado branding.
Yes you’re right my point is ridiculous.. I agree 100% but did you see me posting a video about it? No because it’s kinda dumb! I mean to each they’re own but dude there’s only so many options for colors and team names that sound decent that won’t in some way connect with another team lmao your saying in your video that you don’t know why they do that.. they’re owners are billionaires so you really think they care about any of that regardless
@@user-vj8js7we5y "Who copied who??!" Like bro , stfu . Dude sounds like a woman.
At least for the Islanders, blue and orange are the official colors of Long Island. Not sure if Edmonton has city colors or not.
Edmonton isn't. But I actually checked online and both teams started at the same year.
@@JustMikeDotTvI assume this was a case of them not being in the same league at first and when the Oilers joined the NHL no one made a problem about it so it stayed the way it is today
@@thequestion6493 yeah I think that's what happened. Although I bet even if Oilers started in the NHL, it would have still been the same.
The history of the Oiler's colours are well known to have been the result of a potential sponsorship deal with Gulf Oil that ultimately fell through
@@kj6446 yeah it was before my time. But regardless it's just comparing the similarities in the brandings even if there is reasons behind it.
Tampa need to add more black to their jerseys 'cause the fact that their jerseys are Detroits' jerseys with Maple Leafs colors is just funny
Definitely. I think they should add black and silver to the blue and white. Like the if the Kings and Leafs colors had a baby.
Utah Invaders
The Utah. LDSers
That looks very inconvenient😅😂
Very
I like the logo with the shape of Utah also. I guess if you want to put something at the top of it. I guess you could put the Great salt lake in there.
I was actually just looking at the map of Utah, the actual lake would fit right in the dead space area.
@@JustMikeDotTv Yes, it would be a perfect fit.
Requests Glaciers- Gatorade Frost colors Canyons- The Jazz western jersey colors Swarm- Steelers throwback black and yellow stripes Hive- Utah State Flag colors and logo Yetis (plural please)- Jazz purple from late 90s Black Diamonds- the current black white and light blue color scheme they're going with Venom- Copper and Black
Hey guys, thanks for watching. I really appreciate it. If you like more hockey videos check out my latest hockey video on the channel where I compare NHL team branding kzread.info/dash/bejne/aqp-q8ORnpi2pbA.html
Power bill be like “I’m over 9000!!!”
Nah bro, the average is probably $300 a year.
Stop using AI. Think for yourself
I don't think AI is the final product. But I think a "creative director" could pump out some ideas as a proof of concept. I'm sure before Photoshop and illustrator or any editing software, artists who only used pencil and paper weren't too happy about technology. Also, these are 20 logos. Nobody has time to create 20 logos. It's not even a logo ranking video. I was ranking the names and created AI logos for each one.
I’m waiting for that Mountaineer logo to transform and roll out.
I was thinking of that too. I think it's a filler name to make up for 20 list.
Tag Team Women’s Championship For Bianca And Jade
It's a good idea. I would have to study their branding more. Someone like Naomi is easier because her brand is the neon colors.
Calgary Flames is a cool logo
I like the logo. But way too many C logos in the NHL. A flaming F would have worked. But I think Vancouver should change since Canadiens did it first then Calgary.
SWARM is my #1 choice for sure
I really do like the name. It makes sense and they're "swarming" the ice. But I just hate that when you google "Utah Swarm" a youth baseball team pops up. I know in the end it's no big deal but I prefer a name that hasn't been done yet.
Here are my top 5 team names: 1 Cobras 2 Venom 3 Outlaws 4 Scorpions 5 Dragons Bighorns and Bobcats get honorable mentions I read an article that Ryan Smith wants to have the name and logo in place for this upcoming season. Hopefully that happens. Playing a full season as UTAH HOCKEY TEAM would be lame.
But only Venom and Outlaws are on the survey. I could see a scorpion logo being used for the name venom.
Bro, WWE hasn't had the event in Las Vegas in over 20 years.
Correct. But I meant them having a big event in Vegas so soon after the Superbowl. But my video was more about looking at the logo, but I chose to add a little rant for fun. Ever since this video came out WWE announced 2 nights of SummerSlam in Minneapolis for 2026.
6 was bad
10 was really good
You should input judgment day championship
These kind of had a Judgment Day feel. Although I wouldn't mind doing a stables wrestling title in the future.
The UTAH BLADES, sounds good
Blades was the original name the San Jose Sharks were going to use but chose against it because they didn't want to be associated with gang violence.
U MUST ADD THE PUERTO RICAN FLAG! BUT ALL OF THEM LOOKS GREAT!!!!!!
I thought of that but similar to the Cody Rhodes video I felt like it would have been a Puerto Rican championship instead of a world championship. But some have the single white star.
UTAH MASTODONS !!! (Or the Sun-Dancers)
I thought of a Sundance theme for their name. Mastadons is close to Mammoth.
