  Good stuff guys! I’ve been wanting to get on one of these for a hot min. Always ridden 750cc and up but I’d like to work on some technique without putting my expensive ass bike at risk.   I’m from Tucson and I went there with my buddy 2 weeks ago. It would be awesome if they decide to do one day Tucson, but if not, I definitely recommend going to San Tan Valley.

  What you should of done is wipe it down with WD-40 the go drive the shit out of it. I once did the blow torch and it’s not the best way.

  If you have a duke and just want that, get a slip on (i have a racefit growler X) and the BT moto tune. I have those installed on my bike and it pops like crazy.

  I have the same system with the Factory Map. The bike will not start if it detects Turn Signals. Any advice on a work around?

  Some forums say you can switch all blinkers with LED’s without resistors… this makes the bike think there isn’t any Other way is to get the “magic box” which essentially puts a delay on your power out of the ECU and the bike will start without power to the blinkers. Look up on the forums and you’ll find a way that best suits you

  @@zingzong5 I added Denali LEDs and it didn’t work. Had no luck with the delay relay method. I added a 100 ohm resistor to each turn signal and that did the trick. Even though the Denali LEDs already have resistors built into them since they didn’t hyper flash.

  @@sansari3 You’re the first person then for the delay box to not work that I’ve ever heard of. I have LED’s with no resistors and my 21’ SDR hyper flashes and the Akra tune works fine. Are you located in the US? That might be the problem, if I’m not mistaken the European bikes come with different lights so if you live in that part of the world the blinkers might need a specific resistor

  @@zingzong5 Yes, here in the US we don’t get the LED turn signals that European models get. I had my local motorcycle shop do the work for the delay relay method. Before taking the bike to the dealership I thought I would try using the capacitor/resistor method and fortunately it worked. Super simple compared to the complex wiring of the relay method.

  You know they make a 690 and a 390 version, right? You definitely need more time before you can actually appreciate this bike. Loud exhaust, red light revving, baby power wheelie, squids doing burnouts are fairly common and easy to pick out and you'd be their cover girl. That exhaust couldn't look more tacky with that torch job. Seriously, that bike is not a 2nd or even 3rd owned bike for almost anyone. Get to a track now. Or sell that thing. I bought my last one from a guy who did the same shit. 2 years 6000 miles and hardly a rock chip on it. Alot of baked rubber in places and the suspension set up in an almost unrideable fashion told me all I needed to know. The poor guy had no idea what he had and just wanted power wheelies and burn outs to get looked at...
