By cutting open the week's events in gaming like a corpse on a mortuary slab, then rummaging around in its hideous bloody guts for something resembling the truth. Or something funny at least.

why couldnt they just bring in a rule where only points are recognised on competition days at designated machines or at least have witnesses . its like saying i won the lottery but u cant see the ticket or the numbers just trust me bro they should do an update where on any new version of donkey kong they should have biggest cheat billy mitchell on the screen when it loads
It makes me laugh that a) people's whole lives rest on their score in a dumb video game and b) as pathetic as that is, some are even worse and didn't even score what they claim and had to resort to fraud.
whats frustrating is the cheaters are genuinely great players instead of graciously accepting defeat and working hard to reclaim their records they are too desperate to hang on to their former glory by any means necessary. i would be happy to be half as good a gamer as these guys

Something in this saga that is overlooked is that Billy called out Steve Sanders for lying about an impossible DK score at the event where BM did his 847k score; BUT Billy was claiming a score of 20million on Millipede, a score that beats today’s top score by over 15 million points
How appropriate that the arcade and tape are called boomers.. the irony is amazing
I tried this moth 7 years ago and I don't know what i'm doing with my life but I'm once again fighting this piece of garbage boss design and hate Hollow Knight more than any game I've ever played. What a nice note to end your game on, looks like the sequel isn't in financial and developmental struggle at all.

Just want everyone to know that Billy’s portrait, displayed worshipfully at the entrance of Funspot, I’m thinking for decades, has been quietly taken down . Funspot is the New Hampshire arcade where much of King of Kong was filmed. Funspot had honored him forever as player of the century, or world record holder, or whatever. No more. In fact, I saw no evidence of Billy Mitchell’s existence anywhere at Funspot.

Notice the world records seem to be held by Americans. Are these world records the same as the “World series” where only Americans are allowed to enter. I dispute All the records on twin galaxies. Just some DK lore: Donkey Kong retired, and Donkey Kong Jr. assumed the mantle of Donkey Kong. Senior Kong took the title of Cranky Kong and can be found in the SNES games pretty much telling kids to get off his lawn. The title of Donkey Kong has something to do with New Donk City.
