Im sorry but with the track record of officers aggression and ability to escalate situations in most cases i agree with the government on not giving them more deadly weapons. There needs to be extensive psychological training before you put these types of weapons in the hands of any individual. Yes they should have these weapons available but "Not" in the hands of officers on a daily basis.

How on earth can you kick someone to death!!!!! I’ll never believe this isn’t about sex, first and foremost. It’s definitely about anger, violence and sex but it annoys me when people say it’s not about sex but power. Usually it’s men that say that, ask a woman who has survived this disgusting act, some even apologise so what’s that about?

Not AGAIN!!!!! Is it because they're getting paid peanuts that they only employ monkeys. I hope the family sues these fools. You can tell by his family Myles was unwell NOT bad. Haven't got time to watch all this sad story, but I'm just guessing it was more than just one fool who did this, they do not sound like the one-to-one type of people to kill. I hope the family finds their peace soon. R.I.P. MYLES.

Curious if you have covered DUI Homicides has Crime Beat ever looked into producing a show on Scott Moe's vehicular history. Pretty horrific, possible DUI, left scene of accident etc now a serving Premier that has loosend liquor laws in Sask as well as continued family trend with family member getting busted in BC for DUI

He, the murderer onky got 17 years after evading justice for so long. A calculated dangerous evil monster who probably beat her and caused a still birth also something we will NEVER KNOW but, her depression and tears were probably a cry for help trying to understand how she took up with a monster, a bum, a lazy selfish git, a user, an abuser and a cold blooded killer. Hope he suffers. Hope he NEVER sees the light of day ever again.

Years went by when anyone with half a brain could see clearly how her step fathers car was at the airport the one he forked out 600 dollars in cash from a huge bundle of cash!? How did he get to airport? Why didn't he meet up with cops in Vancover? The 👖 he wore etc., he was a thug, he was seen by others being abusive to her, her mother said her daughter told she was going to leave her...how, it took him that long to be caught hmmmm.

Usually "Crime Beat" is top notch in every aspect but this episode was extremely poor in several aspects. The victim's sister is intelligible and even the "CC" captions are way off the mark and don't make sense. The female cop interviewed appears cold, heartless and overly protective of her employees for no reason except to possibly prevent herself from being sacked. Far better interviewees could and should have been chosen. This story seems not important enough for "Crime Beat" to make a quality production of it in coverage. Shame on the VPD, Fiona Wilson and "Crime Beat" for shoddy work. I thank my lucky stars that Fiona Wilson is not part of our local police force and she is separated from my local police force by thousands of miles and a high mountain range. I wonder if she truly believes her own Bull. 307 investigative steps taken. If driving a squad car to the crime scene, some of those steps would be: 1 pull car keys from pocket 2 insert key into door lock 3 turn key to unlock door......
