  Thank u for this important teaching on “The great day of the Lord.” which is very relevant during these end times. We must never question the goodness of God. People feel there’s no use living for God n doing His work bcoz sinners are enjoying life while the righteous suffer. This is very offensive to God. But God sees the big picture. He knows the end frm the beginning n He works everything for our good always. God listens to all our conversations very attentively n delights in them. That’s why fellowship & prayer are very important. God keeps a record of everything in His book of remembrance, about His faithful followers who fear Him. Let’s ask God to give us a heart that fears His name. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. People who fear the Lord will have no fear of anything, they will hate sin n God will honor them. When we think of Eternity n our reward in heaven, we consider everything else as of no value. Such Godly people will be His jewels. Every generation has a remnant who are eager to serve the Lord n willing to give their lives for Him. They are faithful, they shine for God’s glory, they are rare, they are chosen by God, they are children of God, they have their special identity, they are royal as they are sons of the king, they are spread across the world. Some are still being renewed each day. They are protected by the Almighty God. We can easily recognize those who are His n those who are not. There’s a great day of the Lord which will surely be evident when the wicked n the righteous will be judged. The wicked will be consumed by fire, they will be unable to face God. Whereas the righteous will rejoice n Jesus will embrace n heal them from all their suffering n they will be saved. Even though they faced many persecution they will finally receive their reward as they were obedient to God’s laws. Before the great day of the Lord, He will send His prophet Elijah n reconciliation will take place. Before Christ the messiah arrived God sent John the Baptist, the prophet to prepare the way for the Lord. At the first coming, Christ came as a lamb who was slain for the redemption of His people from sins. His second coming He will come as a king to judge the world along with Moses & Elijah. They were present during the transfiguration of Christ in the NT. The Jews who await the messiah keep a cup that’s full and an empty chair on Passover in anticipation of Elijah who will come to announce the arrival of the messiah. The Jews remain blind to the truth that the messiah has already come Every knee will bow n every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord at His second coming. The OT ends with a curse on the wicked & the NT ends with blessings on righteous. For by grace we have been saved through faith. And this is not our own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Come Lord Jesus come ! Amen! The world has many questions but the only answer is in Jesus Christ.

  Im staying in North India, in the middle of people who doesn't know anything about Jesus. They are strong minded, logical thinkers. Once I went for a picnic with them and in the train there were seat issues. I felt sympathy towards someone who wasn't able to sit properly and was telling them we will adjust. But they were afraid our sear will be lost and they told me to shut up my mouth, don't show sympathy when we ourselves are not sure of our seats. After that I felt I need to stay away from them, though socially it will affect me. How to deal in such situations? After that I didn't feel comfortable in going picnic with them. They were logically correct about the situation. Currently I don't have that much courage to tell them any gospel, they are my colleagues, so I am not thinking about it right now. Sometimes I do WhatsApp status about God for them to see. This may happen with Keralites or even with Christrians. How to deal the relationship with them in the long term?
