Incredible observations and insights Nick. I agree, the passion in young people is there, it's guidance that a lot of us nee. Personally, I think it's also about knowing who we can trust.

They cut out the part of the movie where he explained that his ex loves Merlot and that's why he didn't want to drink it. Nothing about the plot or character had an actual problem with Merlot as a wine

Amazing chat as always! I think we need more chats within the hospo community about the ethics, usage & costs of native produce. Would love to have more work shops and knowledge sharing around that so there is a better understanding of how to navigate these conversations. Not at all saying that weight should be put on byrdi, or put on applewood, but as an industry all together.

Finger Lime crop... its in the description. As a "Murican" who flys drones and loves airplanes I heard "Fingaline prop" thinking some kind of propeller for aviation assumingly wooden since he is in a grove of trees.

Says it’s BS, then provides no arguement. Farm to Table is legit, just hard to find. Coming from someone that worked with a farm-to-table chef.

I think you'll find the kinds of plants in the area when dinosaurs were around were different. Towering conifer forests covered much of Australia. Smaller plants such as ferns, gingkoes, cycads, clubmosses and horsetails created an understorey.

Eucalypts didn't arise until 35-50 million years ago, and their oldest fossils are in Argentina.

Thats not true. They've evolved. There is the Wollemia that's still the same and the Ginkgo biloba is famous for coming from *before* dinosaurs. Keep going but Google before you post.

I can see your point to a certain degree, farm to table wouldn’t really work in the city that’s where your right but once you come rural the farmers put their products in a little shop (which would be owned by someone who takes a small cut of the profits to keep it running) where it can be sold fresh and without middle men, going straight from the farm to the table
