36psi for the front is really meant for your typical road rider who just commutes or goes touring, because they don't want you riding on the road like you would on the track, if you're pushing hard on a nice twisty road then just run basically the same pressures as you would on the track, I tried 28psi in the front on my sv650 recently and it felt great, I figured the lower pressures would help the tyres heat up faster, the only difference is I run higher pressures in the rear because on the road you're usually not getting on the gas hard and early the same way you would on the track, so I choose to run higher pressure in the rear for a bit more longevity.

after 51 years riding I don't go to the track anymore. I do scrub my rear brake every ride just to keep things fresh. Great tips and thank you. If you can be faster then you can be safer on the street.

If the front tyre is not warming up enough on road, should i lower the pressure a bit? It is on a very light bike.

I actually tried this during one of my spirited runs on the mountain twisties and for some reason for me, the leg dangle just feels right. Did it make me go faster? No, i wasn't racing and i was not on track but it made my corner entry feel a lot more controlled which ultimately added to my safety. Yes, i could've gone slower if i wanted to be REALLY safe but let's be completely honest with ourselves here: WHERE'S THE FUN IN THAT? 😂

As 190 is the smallest rear in a RS11, would you recommend it for a 600

One video I saw suggested the main reason was extra parachute wind resistance in a good place just before a turn....guess that is more of a side benefit?
