I Stumbled across this video and glad that I did! My gaming group bought Clank Legacy2, but we only need 1 copy for the 4 of us. Clank Legacy was my fave game of all time, so I was sad to be too slow to purchase for our group for the included beta access. I've wishlisted the Steam game now that it is up! Dont forget minions have defense buffs based off of what kind of attack you use on it! Also you spend energy to cast a spell before you roll !

As I've recently taken up Iron Helm again myself, I decided to go back and check out your Iron Helm runthroughs. What a great run this was! A real "agony of defeat" situation at the end there, to come so far, to have passed up an earlier opportunity at victory, only to be torn apart by a mere wolf. And all the while you had the eponymous Iron Helm! I forger, Mr. Phour, what is it that goeth before the fall? This has got to be the quintessential Iron Helm run. : )

That is wild, as I find that is definitely not the case in my plays. It's most definitely a powerful card, definitely one of the top Clank! cards (if utilized properly) but it's not insurmountable. Looks at it like a personal challenge when someone picks it up! 😁

If Dire Wolf's ports of Dune and Root are any indication, it's going to be bare-bones vanilla Clank for a loooooong time. : ( EDIT: And just to be clear, I love Dire Wolf's digital implementations for all the reasons you're calling out in this beta! I just wish they weren't so slow to catch up with the analog versions of the games they're porting.

Goodness yes. I will never not be upset they abandoned Raiders of the North Sea. It's a fine game, but too plain without the expansions. The released it, it's great and all, but it desperately needs the two expansions. Sadly they haven't touched it. Dune is at least a fairly recent digital release, but the whole reason I haven't bought it (I own the physical game and both expansions, but not Uprising) is because Rise of Ix made it so much better and they don't have it (yet?)!

At 22:39, the card shows "Race: If you have an ork, dwarf, troll, or stonemar in your party..." and seems to indicate that bonus happens at the time of the quest. You stated you have to return to a town for a Power card since you finished the Quest. Were you talking about obtaining that bonus requires the trip back to town? It sounds like the Race bonus happens immediately.

First, I want to say thanks for producing these videos. I noted that at 4:44, when you took the saved victim award of 2 time, you moved the marker from 5 (which was in the correct spot due to Walk) up to 8. 🤷🏼♂️

Thanks for sharing the playthru. I noted that, at 14:08, the first time you moved the Bloodlust marker, the marker was not in its starting spot. It was sitting on the Bloodlust icon. So your Bloodlust was a level too low the entire game. 🤷🏼♂️

This was fun. For some reason, 4AD playthroughs aren't as engaging for me as 2D6 Dungeon playthroughs. I watched all of this one, though. Around 1:06:00, I think you forgot to collect room treasure (even though the rats didn't have any of their own).

Nice to see this game get some attention. 39:40 - You did damage the creature with your Rage die. You should have put down a hit marker to cover that spot. Unless that skill says otherwise.

Great stuff. I probably would've picked up this game at some point if I ever saw it being sold at any of my regular (online) stores. The recent Slay the Spire: The board game fills a very similar niche but it's fully co-operative unlike this game.

Thanks for the playtroughs I loved this game! In minute 8:42 you could take the relic and get cursed, then run your ability and get curse and poison but you are already cursed so you earn 2xp , then fight the spider boss but her ability of poison is not important because you are poisoned and curse. You defeat the spider, earn another 2xp and move to the next level running the ability again and earning another 2xp. So you can exploit the ability of the curse in combination with the relic no? What do you think?

Haha, yes I am! My brain is mess of random movie quotes that have replaced whole words and sentences with my poorly quoted version 😅 I often don't realize I do it, which means I probably said "geeaarr?" a bunch during every play of Sanctum 😆It's good to see an Andor fan! Those games are something special.

how good is the solo mode ? i always wanted to work around a solo mode for this "Diablo-ish" boardgame, We played co-op, changind and ajusting the final round a bit, with my ex girlfriend and had a lot of fun that way. This game should have been so much a Solo-Coop Game at is base ! Cheers !

I've not played it multiplayer (I did read the rules but couldn't tell you how it plays), but the solo mode is a lot of fun. It is a fun resource management / dice manipulation puzzle, that plays quickly. This is important when I have less than an hour to relax after work. The trick seems to be finding a level of difficulty that isn't too easy or too hard. I made these videos while still getting the hang of it on "steady" difficulty, but the fourth video (Outlaw) will be on "hectic" difficulty.

Yeah i felt the same, that the Game is sometimes way to easy, but For me the anomaly Expansion completly fixed this by adding the Challenger cards, maybe thats an Expansion that would make the Game Even more fun for ya

I noticed this in the last video, but sometimes the monster whiffs actually help you more! like at 30:51, you would have gotten to give the Faraviata an extra d6 of damage according to the stat block, although it didn't really matter here. In the last video, i think you would gotten an extra attack and avoided some damage if I remember correctly.

What kind of marker do you use on your Chessex mat? I got wet-erase markers for overhead projectors, recommended in the instructions, and unless you wipe it off immediately they do not come out. Great video. This looks really fun.

So just tried to start this last night and have to admit was fun but extremely frustrating because I didn't print out any Tables on where the tables could be found. That was 100% the worst part. The ones you are using the 2 sheets of paper that are front and back printed. Where in the PDF did you get those? For tonight after work I only printed out the Loot Tables sheet as well as lvl 1&2 tables. Seems like it should be enough but the ones you have printed reference A LOT more from what I can see on the video of them.

Great play! I was wondering how the Rogue's exploration ability worked. You never used it (and the other playthroughs, they weren't very good unless you played with more than one person I believe), so can you not use it to skip unfavorable cards/rooms and use your combat ability? Is that why you never used it?

Dude? I just wanna say that I love your vids - other youtubers go on for about 1 and a 1/2 hrs about - er - stuff before they play the game. I watched - well, skipped forward alot - one youtuber, 1 hour 40 mins in a 'playthrough' vid and they didn't even start an adventure. So 1 hour and 40 mins and who knows what the game loop is... But yours? Here's where you buy it, here's the cost, here's how to role a character, now lets play. Beautiful. I was in two minds over D100 or 2D6 but I've decided on D100 first (might get and play 2D6 later, or maybe 4 against darkness?) because of your vids. Thank you man, you've done me a solid, you really have. And believe it or not? But I'm not going to buy the pc software... There's something about looking at tables and seeing that Spider Queen or Vamp bats or weapons or armour before you roll? And the geography or search tables? (should I run this for the quest or just get loads of drops, bail and, because it's half the cash but the items retain their value, search every room and hope for items...? Sell them all and look for more armour pieces? Then go hard for the Quest? Ya know?) I haven't even bought it yet and I'm already invested. Thank you buddy, seriously, thank you. And yes, I'll keep my combat tracker going till it's full! :D
