He was still controlling her and concerned about himself his ministry and he beat her down ..

I’m listening to you read out the comments of the people wanting to let these men stay in their position of power! Wow! This is just victimizing these young ladies all over again……. If this had been corporate America these men would/should have been fired effective immediately! The church must stand up for the victims! We must forgive! But, we also must protect the innocent! These men are no longer above reproach, they should not be kept in the ministry!

The church as a whole has had a history of elevating gifts above fruit. Gifts are given "without repentance" (Romans 11:29) but fruit is cultivated. God is tearing down the altars/platforms of man and showing us what is REALLY important to Him. Fruit > gifts

I have been around since the early 1990s. I've seen quite a few people in affairs here for a long time. I kept thinking Iwonder what happens to them. Im 74 and have seen and heard a lot. I truly don't think people should have a position over an age groupthat. Has caused him sin. My grandaughter was kicked out of the teens because she was accused of doing what another girl her age whose parents Were counselors accused her of sex wiith a Teenboy. Stuart was the one who did the judging. As a result .my granauhter walked awayfrom God. She is now a Psych Nurse and turning her precious heart back to God. Bless your hear sweet young woman. great testimony but you and your husband getting up and leaving makes me think that you were getting bored with this ladies testimony.......that bugged me watching this.
I saw the Carl Lentz recent interview and that was not true repentance. He blamed the abuse of his youth. Which of course is terrible but to blame that for his multiple affairs is blame shifting. The problem is no one preaches souls need to repent of all their sins they have committed BEFORE Christ will enter their hearts and rule them from within. Robert Morris was never born of God nor was Lentz and this is why they sinned. The church doesn't even know Christ to free us from sinning by the power of the HOLY Spirt residing in our adandon heart. This is why they sin because they have never been separated from it. 1John 3:9 whosoever is born of God does not commit sin because the seed of God is in them and they cannot sin because they are born of God! The church knows nothing about this and this is why there is so much sin in the church. These same sins are being committed by the lay people it's not just the pastors! The amount of victims is massive. The church is unholy and ungodly and is as broken as the world. We need a revival of preaching true repentance before true Salvation in order for souls to be born again.
Now that we know about Robert Morris, Bickle looks pretty good for waiting till the victim was 14 before taking advantage of her. No doubt more of these wolves will be exposed.
