This is tremendous. You could give a little more informative dialogue? How many trucks a day? How much tonnage per shift? How many days a week? How long per day? If you could follow a load from here to the chipper to the digester to the foredrinner and then out to the boxcar for shipment? That would be awesome. Nice sawmill and I definitely wouldn't go for a bandsawmill that costs 2-3 times as a good used circular sawmill. Even rebuilding a circular sawmill is cheaper than a new bandsawmill. Plus you can out produce a bandsawmill plenty and the sawdust is easier to sale.

dmith smith Red&white oak cut very easy, just like basswood. Basswood is a little more fuzzy (sawdust) when you cut it.

I disagree.start on the receiving end.grab the 4x6's,6x8's that are ten-twelve feet in length,go home,cut grass,weed the garden,feed the livestock.by then,you'd be in bed at 7 p.m. I grew up around all this.3 jobs then,factory worker,farming or logging/sawmilling.myself along with my cousins totted many a azz whipping if we said,naw,we ain't doing that.didn't matter who was around,you was getting slapped or a switch.i respect my dad for doing this line of work,the backbone to work(ethics) and enjoy what the rewards were.

I've been running equipment since I was 12 we were farmers and had cattle so my grandfather put me to work in 45 now and have made a good life building roads and parking lots and land clearing when it comes to my preference if I'm doing finish work john Deere dozers are the best I use a 650 h to grade with motor grader got to have my cat 12 h loaders I want JD. 544j or h 644 h cat dozers are strong and can move material but in my opinion ain't worth a shit for finish work to choppy thanks for sharing love seeing iron doin what it does

That's a thick blade to be making that many 1" boards individually. Wouldn't you be miles ahead to cant with the big saw and then run it through a thin kurfed edger for the boards. Way less waste that way and more boards. Just my .02
