Heinkel is pronounced "heyn-kel," not "Hen-kel" A henkel would be a handle, a German champagne brand, or a German chemical Company.

I am honestly surprised it even broke the sound barrier, let alone crazy Mach 1.6 flight speed which is quite fast for a forward-swept wings design. There's a good reason why they'd rather design it to be digital fly-by-wire hardware because of inherently unstable airplane design (B2 faces basically the same problem not having extra wings but those that gives an actual lift). I would honestly not be surprised if they bring the forward-swept wings back in form of variable geometry wings for hypersonic jet fighters because obviously each fuel mileage matters to military, similar to the movie, Stealth, as it could be one of the most fuel efficient options for hypersonic jet fighters.

I got to grope a B-25! It was truly a very sexy experience. But the one that was truly an erotic experience was fondling a F4U Corsair! I have never seen anything so sexy in my life! I had to sit down with my legs crossed because of the, "delicate," condition it put me. I did not want to be accused of being some pervert by the ladies. I stayed in the museum until the closing started. Then rushed back to the Corsair again and caressed ever single body line, touched every single surface, handled the flight controls! I so turned on that I had to buy a souvenir photograph to hide the condition. I came extremely close to, "completion," when fondling that aircraft. If I felt that way with an 80 year old aircraft, how did the young pilots feel when one rolled off the assembly line? Many of them probably did accomplish, "completion," while training to fly that incredible machine! No vehicle has ever been that sexy since the creation of the F4U Corsair!

For those seeking supersonic PROWESS???? Again with the freaking stupid prowess? I click on a seemingly innocent video thinking I will be free of the endless “prowess” bull crap and the damned bot slips it in anyway in a place where it makes absolutely NO SENSE! Stop using that damned word in every effing video! It is stupid and over-abused.

7:22 I was surprised to hear that the Gannet was the first turboprop powered plane to take of and land from a carrier , because I had always thought the westland wyvern was the first. Apparently they were both undergoing testing at the same time, because the wyvern had its first carrier trials 2 days later on June 21, 1950, also on HMS Illustrious!

Soooo...a Jet fighter took out a bi-plane. That just seems crazy to me. Like bringing pepper spray to Machine gun fight crazy. Yes, I know a bi-plane took out the Bismark and all that, but still nuts.

Great big aircraft! Terrible dog fighter..it was an interceptor and then a recce airplane, which it performed well. I heard it was very hard to master; but Col. Robin Olds prided himself on mastering that jet! It was huge, bigger than the F-4! I seen them fly once in 1984 on the last day of the El Toro airshow, on late Sunday and a pair of Canadian Voodoos departed in full afterburner and that was special!

Yes, the Russians installed missiles in Cuba.... but not before the Americans put nuclear weapons on rockets stationed in Turkey. And it wasn't the USAF or some of the lunatics like Curtis LeMay who didgraced its uniform that won the day. Rather, it was the sanity of civilians in the White House and the Kremlin who prevailed and saved humanity from sure destruction. Wonder weapons are nice but wisdom is far better.

That static picture is from the Delaware Valley Historical Aircraft Museum, which was a part of the now defunct Willow Grove Naval Air Station in Horsham Pa where I have lived my entire life .. was a police officer ...I passed by those planes probably a thousand times .. LOL A shame as we once had the only Me 262 Swallow "trainer' jet.. which after it was restored, went down to FLA.. We also had a German naval sea plane Arado Ar 196 which was given back to Germany ..all sorts of historical aviation. The museum is a must see if your near RT 611 right off the Willow Grove exit of the PA Turn Pike .. head North RT 611.. about 15 minutes .. on your left side after the large Ford dealer on your right side ..

In the early 90's two Tornados in the UK low flying system using TFR, collided at 250ft. The aircraft were on an intersecting course where the cockpit frames meant the pilots could not see each other. The TFR set at 250 feet was so accurate as to be mentioned as a causal factor in the incident report.

You can't 'christen', 'baptize' an airplane, a ship, a pet. Christening is exclusive for human beings. In other cases, this action is called 'giving name', as Bob Dylan: 'Man gave name to all the animals, in the beginning, long time ago' Blessings +
