  Hello.😀Thank you for watching so many videos! Hinoki wood can be purchased at "home centers (DIY stores)" throughout Japan, but what is sold is 2mm thick or thicker. When it comes to wood less than 2mm thick, online shopping at specialty stores may still be the way to go. Amazon.com also seems to sell some, although the variety is small.   Such a wonderful piece, and skillfully made!! I have seen many Japanese miniaturists use these wood "sheets", blocs and sticks, but I can't seem to find the equivalent in Europe. I was wondering, if you bought this wood online, would it be possible to link it somewhere? If not, could you tell me how you acquired the wood, was it at a craft store or construction retailer? Obviously, things might be slightly different here, so it might be difficult to find exactly the same thing! But maybe I'll finally be able to find it...Thank you for your wonderful work and craft! Keep going on strong!

  Thank you for your kind comments! Hinoki wood is a wood unique to Japan and can be easily found in stores, but it may be difficult to find outside of Japan. I often see basswood used as wood for dollhouses overseas. Maybe Amazon Japan has some that can be shipped overseas, but I'm sorry I don't know much about it and can't help you.
