    Thank you!! Here’s all the tips I follow to train as best I can: -Train each muscle group twice a week, with at least 48hrs before you train that muscle group again. -After warming up properly, train with the highest intensity you can, with a weight that you can do a maximum of 5-15 reps with. -Aim for the muscle groups you train in your session to have 6-8 working sets. -Aim for 2-5 minutes of rest between sets -Train 5-6 days a week, with 1-2 rest days per week. -Eat LOTS of protein -Sleep consistently, and a lot Hope this helps!

    Side in Antalya is amazing! Cappadocia and hot air ballooning was on my bucket list and I was so happy to go last year before I got too old. Safe travels. I’ve been traveling 3 years now.

    I don't quite understand the part about them trying to sell things to "white people". Wouldn't "because you look like a tourist" be a more accurate term? Do you think Turks are black or something, bro? 😃 There are millions of Turks with your phenotype. Therefore, they do this not because of your color, but because you look like a tourist. Turks do not have this understanding. 👍

    Sorry if I missed this in the video but did you just take a public bus to Herceg Novi or was it an organised company’s day tour? Looking to travel to herceg novi for a day trip from Kotor in a few weeks and not sure of the best way to get there

  • @GizmoAndCompany
    @GizmoAndCompany8 күн бұрын

    Hi there! We took a public bus from Kotor station! It was super easy and affordable, we just bought the tickets online and the process at the station was smooth :)

  • @JayandSarah
    @JayandSarahКүн бұрын

    It is on a large coach but it's not a tour company tour. You just buy tickets at the bus station, or in advance online. You go get the bus and you can buy a return ticket, you just go back to the bus terminal in Herceg Novi and get back on the bus. Coach companies run this route all the time, several times a day.

    I would have never thought that chay is a turcism for tea. In serbo-croatian it's just like that - čaj. You know, for instance when you sit and have a cappuccino in Venice on St Mark square you get one price, but very probably in a smaller bar in a secondary "street", it surely would cost less.

    Hi guys - I think you are worried a lot about being scammed! That was big mixed kebab and 30 dollars seams reasonable

  • @GizmoAndCompany
    @GizmoAndCompany11 күн бұрын

    Hi! I totally agree - the price (about $44) was reasonable for the amount we got, we were mostly annoyed about how the price doubled from what we agreed upon, and the fact that the new price was not communicated to us before they took our card. I will admit we complained a lot in this video (lol), but we have been experiencing a lot of “tourist tax” scenarios lately and to us, and it’s been making us more aware of how these things work. We are aware that as Canadians, we have relatively high purchasing power, and if paying more than the local price will help businesses more than it hurts us, we are okay with that. However, sometimes these transactions seem sneaky and dishonest, which puts a bad taste in our mouth. But hey, that’s business! ☺️

    Im curious, what are the countries where u run into scammers the most, and where u encountered it the least?

  • @GizmoAndCompany
    @GizmoAndCompany11 күн бұрын

    Great question! So far, Istanbul and Antalya have had the most “scams” (expensive touristy things/aggressive salespeople?). We have experienced similar “tourist tax” in Budapest, although there, businesses seemed more up front about prices, so it was easier to avoid. Kotor was interesting because the prices were really high in the walled city, but as soon as you get a little bit out of the core it was much more reasonable. As for the least, I would say Zagreb was very fair and we were able to do a lot of fun things on a budget - same with Kotor (Dobrota), a lot of the activities we loved doing (swimming, hiking, exploring) were naturally free and easily accessible. Belgrade and Novi sad were similar - we loved how the beautiful landmarks (fortresses, parks, rivers, etc.) were open for the public to enjoy.

    Nick and Rylah, sorry if misspelled the name. I have an advice for you gies. Knowing your next destination (provided you're not there already), I'd suggest you to visit (it rhymes as well : no fear here) Golem Grad in Norhtern Macedonia, there's a Wikipedia about that as well. It's a small island on the Prespa lake in N. Mac. known for many snakes, turtles, cormorans. In fact, I just saw a video here about a guy who explores places hardly anyone sees. But, you should search for Golem grad, not as snake island (you'd end up in Brasil). There are also buses from Kotor to Skoplje, the Capital of N. MAc. and than thee to Ohrid, a famous neighboring lake. Delete this post, and answer me your impression about such a thing. I'll be glad to help you find info on how to procede from Skoplje to Turkey.
