    For reference, the engine is as clean as it can get , I had just rebuilt it, so no sludge or carbon anywhere, all plugs were new. This was just to input something that was NOT clean. And the fuel injector cleaner did help but only a tiny bit. It's is a bandaid and will not fix an actual problem. If you're engines burning oil, and had carbon build up for any reason, this is only going to slightly help in the short term.

    Just draining the radiator will actually drain a pretty small amount of the total coolant in the system….the radiator doesn’t hold that much in comparison. You need to do both the radiator and main coolant hoses to water pump to meaningfully do a ‘coolant swap’.

  • @buildanddrive
    @buildanddrive10 күн бұрын

    Yes, if you tilt the car forward a bit, it should drain a lot of the coolant out.

    Check the coil harness is grounded and correctly plugged in. Use a screwdriver to poke the schrader valve on the fuel rail, is there fuel pressure? Take out one of the spark plugs and coil and put the tip near the block, when you crank, does it spark? Is it giving any error codes?

  • @buildanddrive

    I'm not sure. You'll need to get your AC system serviced. They will empty it and refill it and check for leaks. When an AC system has been exposed to open air for more than. 24 hours, you should replace this filter so it doesn't get any moisture in the system.

    Very good observation. I didn't edit/upload it because my hockenheimring content wasn't really being watched. But the new suspension definitely helped A LOT! My car understeered a bit though (designed like this from the factory) so I almost moved to a square setup and got an alignment which completely transformed the handling on track. So if you go b12 pro kit, get light wheels and semi slick tires with a good alignment (more camber in the front)

    Most (all?) piston skirts are tapered from top to bottom. Rocking on the thrust axis is not uncommon, but you shouldn’t have rocking on the non-thrust axis because it should be constrained by the rod bearing and wrist pin.
