I have the sp nickel they are great guns, I have put thousands of cartridges throw mine and it's still like new
Ata or yilditz that's the question. What are sabatti guns like. My 14 year old son is ready to move up from a 20 to a 12
We have 4 ata black sporters as club guns, really good, only issues I’ve found is the black finish is easy to come off if knocked.
Cracking review again Ed they are very good and I was very tempted but got my hands on a browning 525 SL just waiting to try it down at Billy's
Could you do the same for autos for new keepers or pest control
We will hopefully be doing an auto review soon on some new models
Top Firing pin went in mine in under 2000 shots other than that loved it
Loved the video. Out of curiosity, have you had your hands on the latest ATA pro 12? If so would love to know your thoughts or if not would love to see you review one…… at Cocketts of course 😂 The pro 12 seems to be flying of the shelves since release and I’m struggling to find any in stock.
Nice gun.
I wish soooo much we could get these in the USA. All we can get is their tactical stuff.
Yildiz pro grade one better than any ATA in finish and quality for the money.
More expensive shotgun in their home (Türkiye). Yıldız (English Star , not Yildiz) copy of Perazzi, Ata copy of 68X Berettas.
The Yildiz Pro Black Grade 1 Adjustable retails £400 more expensive than the ATA
@@roymartingunsmiths814 yildiz pro regardless of price difference are far better quality in the steel and wood than ATA
Ask the importer about spares good luck buy the real thing 5k for a copy nahhhhhhh
Love my F3... I like the subtle non-flashy look.. and then go out and crush the clays
Nice shooting man. I use light mod, which is 3/8 in both my barrels and been doing well. With it. I shoot sporting clay league every week
The only people i have ever seen that actually need a step up rib are those who need a monte carlo, the step up suits a long neck and narrow frame, i myself don't like a step up, gets in the way of targets lower than muzzle
Probably one of my dream guns at the moment is a DT11 step rib with 31 in barrels. Not a fan of the acs or x trap, but would still have one. Love the head up and look around the rib shooting.
I bought a Browning xs pro with the high rib, scores went up and up made a huge difference
I have two perazzis I shoot a full flat rib mx8 but a step up from the factory 1980s mx3 special and with my neck pain I makes a complete world of difference
What choke gives you a little advantage to miss a little bit but still break the target so u dont need to be ultra precise
What were the practical differences that made it take a couple of months to get used too? Does the higher rib mean you’re aiming lower than before? Thanks
Is there not an attachment that would fit on an existing rib? Or would that alter the balance of the shotgun.
They are the future my friend! 💪 great video bud
Thank you buddy!
That’s a ramped rib not a true step rib 👍
It can also be called a mid rib or a high rib, there is a lot of terminology that can be used to describe that rib configuration
Your Head position is exactly the same. Your hands are just lower....
If the centre of the pad is placed in the middle of the shoulder the same as any gun the head is higher due to the Monte Carlo stock being higher than a standard stock. If you place the stock lower in the shoulder then yes your hands are lower but that defeats the objective of the gun
I have to say I made the leap as discussed before from the browning prosport to the invictus ascent and I love it and my scores are improving the more I get used to shooting it 👍
Beretta A400 MultiTarget, adjustable rib and Monte Carlo stock allow you to dial in the sight picture you want to shoot and benefit from the high rib clear view of the clay. I do love the CG ascent option.
I keep looking out for one of the A400 to try
Even on a flat rib you she see plenty of rib when mounted to allow your head to be in a more upright position, 9times out of 10 it’s gun fit and not rib height related. Great vid again 👍🏻
You know
For myself it’s about being in a head up position without seeing a lot of rib which isn’t doable with a flat rib unless you mount the gun uncomfortably high in the shoulder
All my semi autos have them and I find it really hard to now shoot my new Ceasar Guerini invictus mspec it’s more a sight picture thing also my benelli has a monticarlo stock which I find helps my gun fit needs
I changed my ultra xs pro for an F3 vantage . Love it 👍
Great choice
More wounded then killed. That's poor hunting.
What choke to use for trap to have a more advantage to miss but still break the target, that you don't have to be ultra ultra precise.
I bet really expensive 😢😂❤
Actually it’s fairly reasonable. £400 includes all your cartridges, food and drink on the day. I will have shot between 500-600 shells on the day.
Be patient, carry cash and you’ll find a good DT11 for similar money. Equally a 694 or Ultra XS Pro for a saving. There’s a lot of alternatives from top brands with good reputations before I’d chance my arm on one of these. Best of luck to anyone that does!
Why do you consider the DT 11 infamous?
Hello, a comment from a colonial, if you don’t mind. My extensive experience in sporting clays reveals that patterning from the same barrel of a dopple bockbitzer will NOT provide you with the experience to effectually engage targets at random ranges and double targets from the station. Rather, you need to know what load (from what brand of ammunition) patterns where at various ranges. My investigations revealed that Lite Modified (3/8 choke) worked best out to 22 meters in my shotgun; and Improved Modified (5/8 choke) worked best at about 35 meters. My test and evaluation. Compare.
How would 3/8 work with steel
Es un gran Escopeta lastima que no entiendo nada de lo que dice,Y ME GUSTARIA ENTENDER
How come your not wearing ear protection?
I am, they are clear moulded plugs.
@roymartingunsmiths814 ohh I see thanks for clearing that up
Still out of the budget of 99% of people i know
Most definitely need to have a ride over. Looks a fantastic shop.
Another cracking video, seems to be a lot more turkish manufacturers coming into the UK at a very competitive price range for your avrage shooter like myself.
So many double barrel shotguns
I personally know a few that went down this path, started out ok, then issues developed. Misfires, quality problems, guns locking up, top lever issues. Getting them fixed was a complete headache all bar one purchased used DT11’s which have been faultless (pre 2018 guns) the other moved over to a used K gun. Maybe they were just unlucky who knows?
I picked them up at the show. Lovey finish but very dated the chokes are the old Mobil choke copies. Also the lockup gives a bit of a ringing sound. I’ve currently got a DT 11 black which is for sale and I feels so much more refined for a 2017 gun. But equally if they address these issues and took it down to 4k they’d have a great selling gun. Just not worth the money, as you walk out of the shop you’re already losing 20% before you’ve fired it 😊
How does it stack up against the fake Perazzi (yildis pro)?
I dont think infamous is quite the right word...
Just shot guns what about the thousands of target shooters ,,it's just for toffs 😮
Great videos you are turning out. I learned a long time ago, trying to save a nickel on what you really want will never make you happy. If you really want a DT11 I would pay up for the real thing.
Good Day I've notice no re-coil when you shot amazing. This gun is good for a starter gun maybe.
My name is Michael and I reside in the USA, I purchased a RT25 about two months ago and it has been tainted experience for me. I have the ‘basic’ model which I paid $4700 (£3700) and it has had a few issues. The Extended chokes and the removable trigger group are a few. I had to send the gun to the importer here in the U.S. to fix the issue of trying to remove the trigger group and replace the chokes. My gun does not balance on the hinge pin (barrel heavy) and the ‘drop’ on the Comb is too high (43mm vs 35mm for a stock with an adjustable comb). The wood to metal finish is fine but the recoil pad was not fitted to the stock, I am going to replace it with a Pachmayr SC100. On a ‘positive’ note I like the ‘kerstan’ cross-bolt lock up and the trigger is a pleasant 3.75 # with no take-up. In summary, I bought this firearm with my budget in mind as a DT11 is not reality for me!
Excellent video, thank you.
