I agree some fans are quite toxic. They wanted them to become a couple in real life! The only thing these fans didn't realize is that they're both straight. Buiar lives in Rio de Janeiro and her family lives in Paraná. Reis lives in São Paulo and her family lives in Rio de Janeiro. They have their modelling jobs and in between they visit with their close friends and family. Yes, they have chemistry. Yes, they have friends in common. Yes, the shooting schedule was intense. Yes, they've slept in the same bedroom. Yes, they've shared and gone through a lot during the shooting of Stupid Wife. I guess because Reis was single and is naturally loving and demonstrative. Fans thought she was falling in love with Buiar! Let's not forget Buiar has done at least 3 webseries and 3 lesbian characters before S.W. She was kind of a Brazilian lesbian icon. Fans might have thought that this was a sign that Buiar is gay. Their crazy and surreal chemistry didn't help much! Another thing is the fact that Reis has always said she's learned a lot from Buiar. Buiar was a model, an example and an inspiration for her! This was Reis first protagonist and webseries. Reis respects and admires Buiar. Reis has praised Buiar many times in interviews, in reacts and in Ponto offs. Fans got carried away! To make matters worse, Buiar is reserved and paid Reis a few compliments, the scene was set for drama and disaster! People started inventing things. Also, they have very different personalities. Reis likes to go out with friends to dance samba and drink. Reis is single and Buiar has a boyfriend. Buiar quit Twitter for a while to prevent these toxic fans from hurting and attacking her boyfriend. I imagine that Buiar and Reis might have had some sort of conversation and decided to keep a distance - specially on social media. It's sad that these toxic fans might have ruined their friendship. P.A and a P.R agency could have helped them to deal better with this situation! They needed a P.R assistance and declaration. As thing goes during the party P.A threw for cast and crew to watch the last epsiode of the last season, Buiar and Reis sat close but they were formal. They used to hug and be so comfortable with one another. This is gone now! Anyway, while watching the finale, they both cried their heart out but neither hug each other. They talked some. Then, Buiar stood up to go to the bathroom and when she returned she sat somewhat far from Reis. Everybody asked for a speech. Natalie said she couldn't because she would cry. Pugliese talked a little, but mostly about the crew and the cast in general. Pugliese's friend who helped her to write the second and third seasons said something. Finally, everybody asked for Reis to talk. Initially, Reis didn't want to, but Reis is very transparent and wears her heart on her sleeve. In between tears, she thanked everyone cast and crew. She said how important Luiza's character was in her life and in her maturing as an actress. She said she was very grateful to the directors/producers. Then, she thanked Buiar. Reis said something that can be misconstrued as they don't get along anymore. She said something like we've crossed paths, so irrespectively of whatever comes next we have had something special. Very few people had access to this live because it's for members only. Buiar didn't get up to hug or kiss Reis, which as a Brazilian I would have felt like doing. Reis was clearly very emotional for many reasons, but most of all she's very sensitive! Buiar stayed in her place and made a heart with her hands. It hit me the wrong way! It makes me feel like she's cold, which I know she's not! Buiar is in defense mode like a true introvert and Reis is very respectful even though she's very outgoing, easyoging and outspoken. Do you remember in the behind the scenes that Reis said that she was trying to be respectful of Buiar's body as her character was the one supposed to intiate their physical intimacy? Do you remember Reis saying she wasn't comfortable because her hands are sweaty and cold? Do you remember Reis being completely shy and blushing during the kiss in episode 6? Sorry, this is too long. I don't even know if you'll read it. But, definitely something happened and you're right it was caused by toxic fans and unfortunately this affected and hurt not only Buiar, but Reis as well. I follow them both on instagram. It's sad they never like or comment on each other's posts anymore. They are both very loving, affectionate and attentive to their fans. It's a shame they can't be as comfortable, natural and spontaneous with one another as they were before. I have friends I've made at previous jobs some 20/ 30 years ago. I understand it's part of life that we only see each other maybe once, twice or three times a year. It's the way life is. Things happen that might separate us, but that doesn't mean we don't like, cherish, respect and admire one another. I think that this is the current nature of their relationship. Also, they might need more time to proces all this toxic fandom. Please, don't get me wrong. Love from Brazil.

I just notice that the timeline of this show makes no sense. You graduated high school with 17/18y. Normally you would go straight to college (when it comes to law school) or, maybe took a year, 2 at most. If Luisa was 30 on season 1 (started 2022) she was born 1992. For her to go to college, lets say, with 19/20, that would mean she stated in 2012. The term "Coxinha" to refer as someone from the right started being used in 2016, 4y later. But if this is in fact 2016, that means that Luisa started law school at the age of 24 LOL that cant be right since Im pretty sure she and Valentina are almost the same age (maybe 1 or 2y apart, with Luisa being older). Hm... I cant think too much about this shit hahaha. PS. I dont think I ever had any assignments that had to be done in groups or pairs outside the classroom... but.. whatever lol

Hi,. its me again hahahaha. So about the what they were playing inside the classroom i would say thats commom in brazil (just not inside the classroom). The first day of class has all types of pranks and fun stuff. People get sprayed painted all over, have to asked for donations on the streets for like the "welcome party" and shit like this. In my school, because we are doing law and thats sooooo serious if i recall correctly we had some stupid "im to good for pranks" shit. But that was years ago (i started law school in 2008 and graduated 2013.. god im old) I dont know how its done today.

I totally agree with all the things you said about Reis. She is to me very Aussie(like me) she wears heart on her selve. She says how it is and is very touchy with her feelings. As in she gives hugs a lot and cries when she’s emotional. I do also agree with finishing season 3 rushed and could have made it more detailed and then did a wedding special of 4 episodes. When i think of that has ended it makes me really upset. It is and will always be the best show i have ever watched. The girls made it so believable of their love story. I will forever be grateful to the Pri's. I will always adore them but I am one of the minority just not happy with the last two seasons (as well as the college special) due to the many things mentioned before, that were lacking and/or changed. However, I will always give credit and appreciation to our girls for giving it their all, with what they were given. I am just not as forgiving to PA as most fans are, I suppose, especially when I know they can do better, had done better, especially when I feel what they've given is an insult to actresses and their ability to tell a well fleshed out story, an insult to the story as a whole, to condense it so much and to the fans, once again, as with past f/f series, where so much is invested, views, financial and appreciation given, for the middle and final product to be so disjointed, rushed, more general cast/character focused, lacking in depth and breadth within the intimate scenes, fewer scenes with the two main characters. It could have been so much better. Season 1, the Christmas special and even some scenes of Season 2 are entirely re-watchable. The college special and season 3, not so much, imo. Despite my disappointment in PA, I wish Buiar and Reis all the success, and that they would be inclined to work together again but that rarely happens. I do hope to check out their other projects. Their characters, their portrayals of them, will stay with me always.

I enjoyed S1, Xmas and College, first few episodes of s3 and the birth episodes. But we agree S2/S3 were rushed. It could have been so flushed out, if they had really thought it out in depth we could have easily had 4 season fully done. Third season the whole Cata story line, more flashbacks to Leo's birth, their decision behind having him. Eg made it focus on him/Cata and Luiza post partum depression (that got brushed under the rug so fast) Season 4 could have been about the whole pregency storyline, flashbacks to them getting the house, their first real dance scene (think hot/sensual nightclub type scene) Going through all the doctor's appointments eg, seeing Val pregnant and everyone spoiling her. Maybe some side drama with Sarah and a girl she likes or something. Wedding episode and anniversary/photo exhibit episode. - Laura

Hi there. Buiar and Reis really love their characters and the story. Reis was very happy to do her first protagonist. Reis is very emotional and expressive. Reis is very tender, caring and affectionate. Buiar is very sweet too, but a bit reserved. I think that Reis brings about a more care free and demonstrative Buiar. Also, I saw a couple of interviews with them on youtube. Reis said that Buiar and she did 2 acting courses together to better understand the Method. One was a whole weekend and the other was a week. The one that was a week all the actors/students had to share something very intimate of themselves with the group. Reis believed that this cemented their bond and trust. During the party for part 2 of episode 8 of the season finale, Reis once again thanked the crew, the directors, the cast, the writer (Nathália Sodré) and Buiar. In her words, Reis said: I admire you! I respect you! I learned a lot from you! Thank you! I love Reis and I love that in her! She's very humble! She's very affectionate with the crew, too. Do you remember in Ponto off in which they were recording one of the first scenes that the audio girl Dominique was crying when Reis finished the scene, she went out to her and hugged her? I think Reis was the one who started this tradition in the Stupid Wife - hugging after difficult scenes. Anyways, Reis recognized that Buiar had more experience and she didn't resent that. On the contrary, Reis asked for help and Buiar helped her. In the birth scence, Buiar was insecure and Reis said I never doubted you would be able to pull it off. In fact, in all Ponto offs, Reis always praised Buiar's discipline, focus, talent, preparation and acting. Last, but not least Reis said that she really wanted to play Luiza because she loved the script (the part she received for the audition). She talked to her baby sister (who's gay) and she hired a coach. She was at a crossroads in her life. She got depressed during the pandemic and she was thinking about giving up her acting career because it was going nowhere. Reis always said that Luiza and Stupid Wife changed her life and shaped her. For all her love, passion, dedication, hard work, for the cold Reis was being put through because of ridiculous wardrobe decisions, losing her father to cancer in 2022 (after recording season 1), living in two cities (traveling back and fourth) and finally being kicked to the curb in the season 3 (Catarina had more lines than Luiza!), Reis never wavered. She remained committed and! That's why I'm a big fan of hers! She's a beautiful human being! I love her humor, spontaneity, passion for acting and life. She's 100% authentic and that it's so rare. Anyway, I'm rambling. I'd love to talk to you girls. I'm a Brazilian Stupid wife fan who came across the series this year during my vacation in January. At present, I'm mourning the series and I'm willing to connect to fellow wifeys to deal with this pain.

Yes, they've slept in the same bedroom. Yes, they've shared and gone through a lot during the shooting of Stupid Wife. I guess because Reis was single and is naturally loving and demonstrative. Fans thought she was falling in love with Buiar! Let's not forget Buiar has done at least 3 webseries and 3 lesbian characters before S.W. She was kind of a Brazilian lesbian icon. Fans might have thought that this was a sign that Buiar is gay. Their crazy and surreal chemistry didn't help much! Another thing is the fact that Reis has always said she's learned a lot from Buiar. Buiar was a model, an example and an inspiration for her! This was Reis first protagonist and webseries. Reis respects and admires Buiar. Reis has praised Buiar many times in interviews, in reacts and in Ponto offs. Fans got carried away! To make matters worse, Buiar is reserved and paid Reis a few compliments, the scene was set for drama and disaster! People started inventing things. Also, they have very different personalities. Reis likes to go out with friends to dance samba and drink. Reis is single and Buiar has a boyfriend. Buiar quit Twitter for a while to prevent these toxic fans from hurting and attacking her boyfriend. I imagine that Buiar and Reis might have had some sort of conversation and decided to keep a distance - specially on social media. It's sad that these toxic fans might have ruined their friendship. P.A and a P.R agency could have helped them to deal better with this situation! They needed a P.R assistance and declaration. As thing goes during the party P.A threw for cast and crew to watch the last epsiode of the last season, Buiar and Reis sat close but they were formal. They used to hug and be so comfortable with one another. This is gone now! Anyway, while watching the finale, they both cried their heart out but neither hug each other. They talked some. Then, Buiar stood up to go to the bathroom and when she returned she sat somewhat far from Reis. Everybody asked for a speech. Natalie said she couldn't because she would cry. Pugliese talked a little, but mostly about the crew and the cast in general. Pugliese's friend who helped her to write the second and third seasons said something. Finally, everybody asked for Reis to talk. Initially, Reis didn't want to, but Reis is very transparent and wears her heart on her sleeve. In between tears, she thanked everyone cast and crew. She said how important Luiza's character was in her life and in her maturing as an actress. She said she was very grateful to the directors/producers. Then, she thanked Buiar. Reis said something that can be misconstrued as they don't get along anymore. She said something like we've crossed paths, so irrespectively of whatever comes next we have had something special. Very few people had access to this live because it's for members only. Buiar didn't get up to hug or kiss Reis, which as a Brazilian I would have felt like doing. Reis was clearly very emotional for many reasons, but most of all she's very sensitive! Buiar stayed in her place and made a heart with her hands. It hit me the wrong way! It makes me feel like she's cold, which I know she's not! Buiar is in defense mode like a true introvert and Reis is very respectful even though she's very outgoing, easyoging and outspoken. Do you remember in the behind the scenes that Reis said that she was trying to be respectful of Buiar's body as her character was the one supposed to intiate their physical intimacy? Do you remember Reis saying she wasn't comfortable because her hands are sweaty and cold? Do you remember Reis being completely shy and blushing during the kiss in episode 6? Sorry, this is too long. I don't even know if you'll read it. But, definitely something happened and you're right it was caused by toxic fans and unfortunately this affected and hurt not only Buiar, but Reis as well. I follow them both on instagram. It's sad they never like or comment on each other's posts anymore. They are both very loving, affectionate and attentive to their fans. It's a shame they can't be as comfortable, natural and spontaneous with one another as they were before. I have friends I've made at previous jobs some 20/ 30 years ago. I understand it's part of life that we only see each other maybe once, twice or three times a year. It's the way life is. Things happen that might separate us, but that doesn't mean we don't like, cherish, respect and admire one another. I think that this is the current nature of their relationship. Also, they might need more time to proces all this toxic fandom. Please, don't get me wrong. Love from Brazil.

I just notice that the timeline of this show makes no sense. You graduated high school with 17/18y. Normally you would go straight to college (when it comes to law school) or, maybe took a year, 2 at most. If Luisa was 30 on season 1 (started 2022) she was born 1992. For her to go to college, lets say, with 19/20, that would mean she stated in 2012. The term "Coxinha" to refer as someone from the right started being used in 2016, 4y later. But if this is in fact 2016, that means that Luisa started law school at the age of 24 LOL that cant be right since Im pretty sure she and Valentina are almost the same age (maybe 1 or 2y apart, with Luisa being older). Hm... I cant think too much about this shit hahaha. PS. I dont think I ever had any assignments that had to be done in groups or pairs outside the classroom... but.. whatever lol

Hi,. its me again hahahaha. So about the what they were playing inside the classroom i would say thats commom in brazil (just not inside the classroom). The first day of class has all types of pranks and fun stuff. People get sprayed painted all over, have to asked for donations on the streets for like the "welcome party" and shit like this. In my school, because we are doing law and thats sooooo serious if i recall correctly we had some stupid "im to good for pranks" shit. But that was years ago (i started law school in 2008 and graduated 2013.. god im old) I dont know how its done today.

I totally agree with all the things you said about Reis. She is to me very Aussie(like me) she wears heart on her selve. She says how it is and is very touchy with her feelings. As in she gives hugs a lot and cries when she’s emotional. I do also agree with finishing season 3 rushed and could have made it more detailed and then did a wedding special of 4 episodes. When i think of that has ended it makes me really upset. It is and will always be the best show i have ever watched. The girls made it so believable of their love story. But is actually pretty common for people to graduate and don't do anything with it mostly because a lot of people does law school simply because they don't know what else to do, its a better life choice (money wise) then history or something and doesn't involved math uasdhasudahsdaus

I will forever be grateful to the Pri's. I will always adore them but I am one of the minority just not happy with the last two seasons (as well as the college special) due to the many things mentioned before, that were lacking and/or changed. However, I will always give credit and appreciation to our girls for giving it their all, with what they were given. I am just not as forgiving to PA as most fans are, I suppose, especially when I know they can do better, had done better, especially when I feel what they've given is an insult to actresses and their ability to tell a well fleshed out story, an insult to the story as a whole, to condense it so much and to the fans, once again, as with past f/f series, where so much is invested, views, financial and appreciation given, for the middle and final product to be so disjointed, rushed, more general cast/character focused, lacking in depth and breadth within the intimate scenes, fewer scenes with the two main characters. It could have been so much better. Season 1, the Christmas special and even some scenes of Season 2 are entirely re-watchable. The college special and season 3, not so much, imo. Despite my disappointment in PA, I wish Buiar and Reis all the success, and that they would be inclined to work together again but that rarely happens. I do hope to check out their other projects. Their characters, their portrayals of them, will stay with me always.
I enjoyed S1, Xmas and College, first few episodes of s3 and the birth episodes. But we agree S2/S3 were rushed. It could have been so flushed out, if they had really thought it out in depth we could have easily had 4 season fully done. Third season the whole Cata story line, more flashbacks to Leo's birth, their decision behind having him. Eg made it focus on him/Cata and Luiza post partum depression (that got brushed under the rug so fast) Season 4 could have been about the whole pregency storyline, flashbacks to them getting the house, their first real dance scene (think hot/sensual nightclub type scene) Going through all the doctor's appointments eg, seeing Val pregnant and everyone spoiling her. Maybe some side drama with Sarah and a girl she likes or something. Wedding episode and anniversary/photo exhibit episode. - Laura
Hi there. Buiar and Reis really love their characters and the story. Reis was very happy to do her first protagonist. Reis is very emotional and expressive. Reis is very tender, caring and affectionate. Buiar is very sweet too, but a bit reserved. I think that Reis brings about a more care free and demonstrative Buiar. Also, I saw a couple of interviews with them on youtube. Reis said that Buiar and she did 2 acting courses together to better understand the Method. One was a whole weekend and the other was a week. The one that was a week all the actors/students had to share something very intimate of themselves with the group. Reis believed that this cemented their bond and trust. During the party for part 2 of episode 8 of the season finale, Reis once again thanked the crew, the directors, the cast, the writer (Nathália Sodré) and Buiar. In her words, Reis said: I admire you! I respect you! I learned a lot from you! Thank you! I love Reis and I love that in her! She's very humble! She's very affectionate with the crew, too. Do you remember in Ponto off in which they were recording one of the first scenes that the audio girl Dominique was crying when Reis finished the scene, she went out to her and hugged her? I think Reis was the one who started this tradition in the Stupid Wife - hugging after difficult scenes. Anyways, Reis recognized that Buiar had more experience and she didn't resent that. On the contrary, Reis asked for help and Buiar helped her. In the birth scence, Buiar was insecure and Reis said I never doubted you would be able to pull it off. In fact, in all Ponto offs, Reis always praised Buiar's discipline, focus, talent, preparation and acting. Last, but not least Reis said that she really wanted to play Luiza because she loved the script (the part she received for the audition). She talked to her baby sister (who's gay) and she hired a coach. She was at a crossroads in her life. She got depressed during the pandemic and she was thinking about giving up her acting career because it was going nowhere. Reis always said that Luiza and Stupid Wife changed her life and shaped her. For all her love, passion, dedication, hard work, for the cold Reis was being put through because of ridiculous wardrobe decisions, losing her father to cancer in 2022 (after recording season 1), living in two cities (traveling back and fourth) and finally being kicked to the curb in the season 3 (Catarina had more lines than Luiza!), Reis never wavered. She remained committed and! That's why I'm a big fan of hers! She's a beautiful human being! I love her humor, spontaneity, passion for acting and life. She's 100% authentic and that it's so rare. Anyway, I'm rambling. I'd love to talk to you girls. I'm a Brazilian Stupid wife fan who came across the series this year during my vacation in January. At present, I'm mourning the series and I'm willing to connect to fellow wifeys to deal with this pain.
That's is why we migrated so hard to the Pri's they aren't fake. They are themselves, they aren't perfect. In this day and age specially people in their professions, we expect the complete opposite.
