Thank you 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 It has been so frustrating to see how much hate Buiar has been getting from weirdos in this fandom based on stuffs they made up themselves. The entitlement and delusions are absolutely insane. Honestly them getting Twitter accounts was one of the worst things that could have happened. That app is only fun to use for us regular individuals but can easily become hell on earth for public figures because there's no control. I have always feared that something like this would happen and unfortunately it did.

Agree 100% problem is people can say whatever they want with no consequences. There will soon need to be better laws in place or better guidelines in place to protect people. Sadly requests/reporting people are generally seen by a bot, not a person. So nothing happens.

Finally rational people 👏🏼 I wish you guys had more subscribers because this NEEDS to get a lot of views. It's true that you literally can't go on anything VaLu related without ending up seeing at least a few comments being overdramatic and trying to spread lies and harmful rumours. I have noticed that a couple of times even here on KZread comments of some Stupid Wife reaction videos. Some people trying to seem innocent by saying that they mean no harm but then they keep going about how Buiar is this and that. Literally making stuffs up and exaggerating because she's not acting the way they want her to.

I agree some fans are quite toxic. They wanted them to become a couple in real life! The only thing these fans didn't realize is that they're both straight. Buiar lives in Rio de Janeiro and her family lives in Paraná. Reis lives in São Paulo and her family lives in Rio de Janeiro. They have their modelling jobs and in between they visit with their close friends and family. Yes, they have chemistry. Yes, they have friends in common. Yes, the shooting schedule was intense. Yes, they've slept in the same bedroom. Yes, they've shared and gone through a lot during the shooting of Stupid Wife. I guess because Reis was single and is naturally loving and demonstrative. Fans thought she was falling in love with Buiar! Let's not forget Buiar has done at least 3 webseries and 3 lesbian characters before S.W. She was kind of a Brazilian lesbian icon. Fans might have thought that this was a sign that Buiar is gay. Their crazy and surreal chemistry didn't help much! Another thing is the fact that Reis has always said she's learned a lot from Buiar. Buiar was a model, an example and an inspiration for her! This was Reis first protagonist and webseries. Reis respects and admires Buiar. Reis has praised Buiar many times in interviews, in reacts and in Ponto offs. Fans got carried away! To make matters worse, Buiar is reserved and paid Reis a few compliments, the scene was set for drama and disaster! People started inventing things. Also, they have very different personalities. Reis likes to go out with friends to dance samba and drink. Reis is single and Buiar has a boyfriend. Buiar quit Twitter for a while to prevent these toxic fans from hurting and attacking her boyfriend. I imagine that Buiar and Reis might have had some sort of conversation and decided to keep a distance - specially on social media. It's sad that these toxic fans might have ruined their friendship. P.A and a P.R agency could have helped them to deal better with this situation! They needed a P.R assistance and declaration. As thing goes during the party P.A threw for cast and crew to watch the last epsiode of the last season, Buiar and Reis sat close but they were formal. They used to hug and be so comfortable with one another. This is gone now! Anyway, while watching the finale, they both cried their heart out but neither hug each other. They talked some. Then, Buiar stood up to go to the bathroom and when she returned she sat somewhat far from Reis. Everybody asked for a speech. Natalie said she couldn't because she would cry. Pugliese talked a little, but mostly about the crew and the cast in general. Pugliese's friend who helped her to write the second and third seasons said something. Finally, everybody asked for Reis to talk. Initially, Reis didn't want to, but Reis is very transparent and wears her heart on her sleeve. In between tears, she thanked everyone cast and crew. She said how important Luiza's character was in her life and in her maturing as an actress. She said she was very grateful to the directors/producers. Then, she thanked Buiar. Reis said something that can be misconstrued as they don't get along anymore. She said something like we've crossed paths, so irrespectively of whatever comes next we have had something special. Very few people had access to this live because it's for members only. Buiar didn't get up to hug or kiss Reis, which as a Brazilian I would have felt like doing. Reis was clearly very emotional for many reasons, but most of all she's very sensitive! Buiar stayed in her place and made a heart with her hands. It hit me the wrong way! It makes me feel like she's cold, which I know she's not! Buiar is in defense mode like a true introvert and Reis is very respectful even though she's very outgoing, easyoging and outspoken. Do you remember in the behind the scenes that Reis said that she was trying to be respectful of Buiar's body as her character was the one supposed to intiate their physical intimacy? Do you remember Reis saying she wasn't comfortable because her hands are sweaty and cold? Do you remember Reis being completely shy and blushing during the kiss in episode 6? Sorry, this is too long. I don't even know if you'll read it. But, definitely something happened and you're right it was caused by toxic fans and unfortunately this affected and hurt not only Buiar, but Reis as well. I follow them both on instagram. It's sad they never like or comment on each other's posts anymore. They are both very loving, affectionate and attentive to their fans. It's a shame they can't be as comfortable, natural and spontaneous with one another as they were before. I have friends I've made at previous jobs some 20/ 30 years ago. I understand it's part of life that we only see each other maybe once, twice or three times a year. It's the way life is. Things happen that might separate us, but that doesn't mean we don't like, cherish, respect and admire one another. I think that this is the current nature of their relationship. Also, they might need more time to proces all this toxic fandom. Please, don't get me wrong. Love from Brazil.
