Hi just bought the G51c. It’s my first gaming monitor and just wondering if it’ll work well with my Xbox series x Or PS5? Hoping the hdr comes through. Thanks.
Hopefully the contrast/saturation can be tweaked in HDR mode - crushed blacks aren't good! Elden Ring is beautiful in HDR, but if you have crushed blacks then you lose a lot of atmosphere! There are pitch black areas (caves) that you do need a torch to light up, but there's lots of dark areas where you should still be able to see detail! The starting room is a good example, tweak your settings so you can make out the furniture etc. For Elden Ring I found the best result by far was to turn OFF in-game HDR and use SpecialK for HDR. I do this for most games. Actually for Elden Ring specifically I use SweetFX as it's required for a DLSS mod. Elden Ring looks stunning in HDR, but you need to put some time into tweaking it. Looked fantastic on my HDR400 monitor with no FALD. My G7 should come tomorrow - looking forward to see how it stacks up, hoping it's a big improvement :)

Do you need the 24 pin connected to the fan hub in order to power the cooler? I tried to do without the hub, skipping plugging in the 24 pin connector and I seem to not get any power to the cooler. Everything else is connected and working but cpu temp is getting high of shuts down.

Is this monitor really that bright and colorless?
I'm waiting for mine to arrive but I'm kinda confused. the Amazon webpage says that the HDMI ports are 1.4, which should output 1440p @60hz and 1080p @144hz... Which makes no sense providing what you're showing here and what the official website says. Maybe they uploaded the wrong picture on amazon?

dude ,let me fix ur screen tearing,u need to activate vsync on in ur nvidia panel control ,,, working with gsync,,, and is done,if u dont belive me,check the page blurbusters,it explains how gsync works

Is have this monitor. I use it on both ps5 n xbox series s (only forza). Its good device but m looking for tv. I only play story based games with 60 fps. It supports 4k resolution on ps5 not sure how. My current ps5 resolution is 3840*2160 - 60hz. Hope it will help some questions.

I recently purchased the Acer XV282K monitor and am having trouble activating Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) with my PlayStation 5. Despite following instructions and ensuring both firmware and system software are up to date, I receive an error message stating "Your TV doesn't support ALLM" when attempting to enable it automatically.

Does that 24 pin only come on those models? I don't have that on the H100i Platinum SE. There's only one wire left and it's the tach wire. Everything else plugs in to each other🤷♀️.
