  In those days ,we'd want to tease our hair like Jane did at the crown. So many of these photos I remember from the magazines I bought like "16", and others. It was a great time to be young and beautiful !! Still love our Jane !!

  This lady was definitely a beautiful person inside and out. She sure had the voice of an angel and a very warm heart. It is so sad that she passed away at such a young age. I think that her music and memories will live on forever. She is dearly loved and sadly missed

  Met Karen at our dentist office in Oct 1976! What a thrill i was so excited and nervous but enjoyed every second.....she was so sweet to me and kind to this 24 year old crazy fan!!! So pretty in person.....gorgeous A moment or two in time that i will remember the rest of my life: My 2 friends met Karen a few times while working at Gemco there in Downey and met the entire family!

  My senior trip to Disneyland I was so excited, never been there. Found out the castle wasn’t real..bummer. But, my two buddies and I met these 3 beautiful girls from another school and we all had a blast. Great memories.

  Karen Carpenters voice is unmistakable - you. Always know its her. Its not something that griws on you or you learn to love. It is gorgeous abd thats that.

  What makes for a good voice? I know this voice is beautiful, I can’t quite explain why. The enunciation, the measured step; one by one. I don’t know, but her voice makes me happy.
