There is also a shrine to St Elizabeth Anne Seaton in Emmitsburg MD. It's about a 20 minute drive south of Gettysburg on US 15 South

6.5 ft tall 6ft wide for the flags unfurled. Color bearing held colors till being kia/wia

How far can the civil war drums be heard. ? On any given direction? Were the drums used for battle strategy?

Drums/bugle calls were used for directing how regiment was to follow commands from c.o. like charge, retreat

Both of my Great Great Grandfathers died fighting for the Confederacy. I love walking Civil War and Revolutionary War battlefields - one can almost visualize what it must have been like to be a part of that piece of History. Great video honoring the memory and legacy of those who fought and sacrificed so much.
