Elf is looking super cute. Maybe a simple crab stitch on his dungarees. Will crocheting the squares together, give the bag some structure. Are you going to line it. I always enjoy casting on a new pair of socks. Take care. X

I'd crochet the squares together for the bag. I don't have Audible, but I love Freida McFadden books. If you can get The Housemaid, then The Housemaid's Secret, followed by The Housemaid is Watching. Hope you feel better soon.

Yes I am from the UK . I live in South Yorkshire but stay on the East Coast most of the time in our holiday home . My husband has problems with mobility so it’s easier to be all on one level . We are retired but I took a part time job ( 15hrs ) as I was getting a little stir crazy and of cause the money comes in handy to feed my addiction to all things yarn 🙂 thanks for joining me x

@louisesimnor9958 Its a lovely pattern . I got my yarn from Katsi’s Crafty Things www.katsiscraftythings.co.uk Delivery was really quick and the yarn was so affordable in 50g balls . I just got one of each . 🙂

Love the strawberry gnome! Super cute! I really want the Aquatic Amigirumi book now. Her designs remind me of the PicaPau books. The details are awesome. The Rowan hooks are beautiful! Clover Amour and Tulip are my favorite hooks. Although I like the Dots set from We Crochet as well. I been crocheting for 3 years and love it!!! I learned to crochet from Sarah Zimmerman’s book ‘Cute Critters’ book. I’d like to try knitting someday.
There’s an Aquatic Amigurumi 2 coming out in September too 🙂 I have a couple of PicaPau books but haven’t made anything yet , mainly due to time . It was my mission last year to learn Amigurumi , and I love it . 🙂

It was a real learning curve for me I hadn’t ever joined my blankets like the way it says . So yes I might change mine too . But I really did enjoy it 🙂

Hi and welcome Lindsay , like you I have done all crafts and still love them all . The trouble is you need so much ‘stuff’ 😂🙈. So I’m sticking with crochet and knitting ( for now ) . The gnomes are easy , just take one row at a time . Glad I’m inspiring you 🙂

Hi Julie! I have been enjoying your Christmas in July videos very much. I found your channel through Jeanette at Crafty Cleggs. You are both very talented and fun to watch- it's like spending time with crafty friends. I am not able to participate in Christmas in July this year - I'm using my limited craft time to make baby blankets and plan a shower for a coworker- but I can feel festive through the two of you. I watch you all the way from Tampa, FL which is on the west coast of Florida in the US where it is super hot these days. Look forward to seeing your helper elf! Take care!
Hi Linda , iv been to Tampa 🙂 quite a few years ago now though . Thank you for your kind words , I’m always learning and trying to improve .It was my mission last year to learn Amigurumi and I really enjoy it . I do like making blankets too , especially with a good movie on , they are my TV projects . New baby projects are great and are really made with love 🙂

Hi again Julie….I have the mufficorn book too, but have yet to make one of the gnomes, but hopefully soon…I’m making baby knits for my new great grand baby due at the beginning of January. But also some loveys. I’m on the Wirral….not far from Chester, but my sister lives in Penistone….lovely part of the world, altho I don’t get over that way as much as I’d like. Live in a village just outside Rochdale but am currently on tour in our Motorhome. I used to have a static van on the East Coast at Reighton Sands, love that area so it’s nice to see you relaxing in your holiday home. I have the same little houses ( 3 ) you have on your shelf which I bought in Scarborough on one of our trips.
