Supposedly a twin turbo version of the z06 engine
idk what the complaint is about cvt's my 2014 civic has one and its lasted 180,000 miles. same with my moms altima thats on 130,000 miles. i will say that the altima's programing is kinda off when accelerating it decreases rpm whereas with the honda it holds the gear until i let off the gas then changes. before anyone asks both get between 30-35 mpg being 10+ years old

Its the GDI.
Nissan is the poor cousin of Japanese car manufacturers now owned by Renault…
One more factor involving negative equity ~@3:30: The negative equity balance is being transferred from a lower interest rate loan to a higher interest rate loan. So not only is the principal owed on the new car loan higher due to negative equity, but also the amount of interest paid (on that negative equity) is higher. A complete lose-lose.
Don’t scare me guys, I bought my FL5 Type R the same time you guys posted this😂😂
I heard the new Vettes come with New Balance sneakers and denim shorts already in the trunk.
Trash!!!
The Mustang will beat it
as a dealership salesperson, I'm honestly not even mad, sure its harder to make money now which sucks but its easier to sell cars now because carmax isnt offering everyone a million dollars more for their trade ins, Carmax was crazy with the offers, we would even have employees sell their cars to carmax before buying a new car lmao.
Also quick little mention, of course it depends on the make, model, and how long you plan on keeping a vehicle, but if you buy a car, for the love of god get an extended warranty if you intend to keep the vehicle a long time, if its a toyota corolla I get it but for reference subaru multimedia systems are a $3000 repair, and no 2 vehicles are created equal. I bought a 2019 BMW 330i (haha bmw so unreliable blah blah blah) whatever, point is I bought the extended warrant, got it for $3400 which for a luxury vehicle is a solid price, didn't buy from my own dealership btw because I work at a toyota and subaru dealer. I literally made sure that because I got the warranty I was going to use the fuck out of it on every little thing I can. it has saved me over $4000, (headlight housing was a $3200 replacement, I just saw slight condensation, literally the most petty thing ever lmao) and I broke an active grille shutter in an ice storm by hitting a bad bump, technically my fault but the service advisor told the warranty company it wasn't me because he's the best, saved me $786. I'm telling yall it is worth it, just don't let a dealership tell you it's $5000 (on a mass market brand like Honda,Subaru,Toyota etc... can't speak for yall BMW,Lexus,Mercedes people). And please for the love of god if you are offered Gap for $500 to $750 and you put $0 to $3000 down on a car, take it, otherwise I hope to god you total your car lmao.
2020+ BMW 3 series 👌
Scott Kilmer DOES NOT approve this video.....😅😅😅😅😅
BMW has not use highl quality materials since the Bangel Era from the mid 2000s...
"Advance technology that DOESN NOT work is simply BAD technology.... "(Scotty Kilmer. 2020)....
BMW has been done for a very long time. It's nice to see some people are finally catching on!
Couple months back wrote a paper for my management class about Stellantis firing a bunch of their U.S. engineers and software people. They’re terrible.
Click bait, propaganda, conflict of interest...
No conflict of interest detected. Oh wait, there it is...
If you want honda buy the manual
i would never buy any jeep… new or used
Hyundai and Kia has extended warranty for a reason. Junk.
at the time honda was more focused on reliability and efficiency. but today’s demand is for convenience and fun. heres the result for now.
Get lexus sport cars instead
Mustang coyote dead at 60 k
I bought Nissan versa in manual . I am hoping it would be reliable since engine is ancient and manual is manual
Get their act together? That's hysterical. That CVT transmission blew a Nissan Marano sale.
Honda is far from worst, they still remain in the top 5 most reliable. Hyundai, Kia, BMW, Mercedes and even Nissan are absolute garbage. I owned a MINI for 3 years, no matter how well I maintained that car it still had issues after 105,000 km
I would def buy a used BMW. IF Trav lived nearby to inspect it beforehand and to help me with repairs afterwards.
Any Dodge/Chrysler product
I see the rogue cvt here and its funny because my neighbor has well over 300k miles on hers and no issues.
subaru has cvt and it is almost always in the top 10 car reliability
Describing Theta engines using Kia Forte GT video is very wrong
Got a honda crv hybrid ad at th point were you sed hybrid
Everybody plays this background dumb-you-down rubbish.
The chevy trucks are fine when you deactivate the DFM system . Haven't had a problem but I don't abuse the truck either
Lets phase back what you said about Nissan because the Infiniti QX50 will outlast a BMW and a Benz and the QX50 was also designed with the Mercedes Benz GLE Also let me say that Toyota also has its fair share of issues with their Taundra, New Land Cruiser and their family size Lexus SUV models .. same goes for Honda
They have no experience with turbo engines. I’m guessing it’s supercharged.
Corvettes have never been cheap? They’ve always been cheap.
Hi. What about the Chevy Trex
I hear it's bad news.
BMW, Toyota/Lexus, and Honda/Acura are the only brands I buy.
Nissan trucks are reliable as any Toyota truck (pre tundra/tacoma redesign) too bad Nissan is so dumb they are getting rid of the Titan. The Frontier and Armada redesign is probably going to make them suck ass as well and then what are we left with? The only bad Nissan truck was a few select years of the diesel Titan.
This is why I bought a Honda
Spoiler alert - Nissan 😂
The best thing for the planed is to incetive keep older cars in optimal condition, with reliable 4 cyl engines and lower speed limits again, i dont get how some street cars reach 400hp , there is no need for that in the streets
Imagine getting an Infinity and it has a fucking CVT, that should instantly make you NOT buy that shit. Best cars ever made are 99-2013 past that they fucked everything up with bad tech and cost cutting measures everywhere possible.
Pop the hood. Me: CVT no sit!
I needed this video 6 months ago, before I bought my kia
Do your own research, you pay for it.
I have a 2013 kia sorento best car I have ever own my wife still drives it daily 210k miles NOT ONE ISSUE
@@JXiong-zo8igI believe it. They're better than most believe.
Need proof that Japanese cars are the best in terms of reliability and build quality, just look at Nissan before and after Renault bought them 😂😂😂😂
What is happening with manufacturers these days? It used to be if you wanted a reliable vehicle you turn to the far east companies, but Nissan in the shitter, Honda reliability has dipped, Hyundai and Kia dropping the ball who is there left to turn to? European and American vehicles have never a shining beacon of reliability either. No wonder there's a boom in classic and older cars. They ran longer with proper maintenance. Add in inflation and price gouging over the last 4 years, it's time to rub those pennies together for a descent "old school".
Basically higher emissions, computers, and cost cutting. Peak automobile reliability was in the early 2000. We need some cheaper basic vehicles. Port injection, no turbo, no cvt, no cylinder deactivation, no start stop etc.
Toyota
Sticking throttle pedals
i bought a 2018 civic new with the 1.5 and it has 112k miles now with not a leak or squeak to be found. but i do take good care of it. but then 90s hondas would run dry so there’s that
i should also mention it’s a manual
