After one of your fake fades, two teammates died. Is that a valuable fade? Wouldn't have it been better to go back and support your team, possibly preventing them from dying?

yes because he got a pick and stalled point. the enemy rein ulted and killed the two people. if you know anything about moira, she's not outhealing that. they were dead anyway.

Tanks are the problem in ow 2. The reason 6v6 would be good in this instance is because if one tank is an idiot then theres at least one extra person. Realistically alot of changes would need to be made to again make 6v6 viable but i think it could help alot

This Mauga is nothing compared to the Hogs i'm used to deal with, for once, there was this Hog who refused to change, I repeatedly pointed out the fact bastion was ripping him everytime, it was impossible to keep him alive, since they like to scapegoat the support he ended up accusing me of dps, which made no sense since I was the top healer of the match.

These idiot tanks are the same ones who climb when there’s an oppressive meta for one tank like Mauga who think they’re hot stuff because their shiny new toy is completely busted and unbalanced, who then immediately start whining as soon as they get balanced about their supports’ healing when they’re the ones rushing out into horrible positions that they could only get away with when they were playing an unkillable hero. It’s remarkable that Arx was able to carry such utter rubbish. I aspire to have that level of prowess.

you sounded very frustrated about your tank, I understand its a team game and I'm just trying to give you mental advice(I know its overwatch). Try not to let your teammates performance get to you because at the end of the day you can't control them, always work on playing YOUR best because that is the only thing you can control. It's something I try to work on myself but yeah its not easy.

Well, clearly, he IS doing his best right here, the best he can to win these games with these teammates. Again, he is Top 500 so the comp games are important and very sweaty. You can get very angry at people very quickly when the games get frustrating.

Very true. My friend had this mindset and I quitted ow because of it, he complained 24/7 but he is far from plat even so its not comparable I guess. I dont play comp tho, but if the games are far from winnable I just end up not stressing so much and chill, making the match more as a training ground instead. But for comp I get it.

Thank you so much for this video. I played OW for nearly 500h and I strongly believed my Moira is the only good hero I am playing. Which is partially true, she is way better then any other hero. But this video showed how clueless I am. With you sticking to the your role and constantly repeating the same mechanics I had the chance to understand it. I love how you didnt force my brain to search for solutions I couldnt even understand. Just simple and plain basic mechanic repatition. Thank you soooo much.

Works almost only with a keyboard and a mouse cause with a controller they rotate their camera so slow that they see you. 😢

Nah it can work but not all the time, just pretend your going in a direction then fade back but don’t make any sudden movements because like you say they turn the camera slow they can see you so I get what you’re saying on that aspect but it’s not impossible

One of my favorite things about Moira is the moment your opponent enters a room with a pre-existing orb or they take the fade bait they know they just got outplayed.

What makes you use your Coalescence right as you get it? I have heard of it said as a easy team fight winner but I'm not sure. What would you say are some good things to think about if you commit to using it?

Every second you hold it, you are losing value every time you heal or damage someone, because you are not gaining any ultimate charge. Your healing becomes less valuable because all it does is heal, and doesn't heal + get ult charge. So you do not want to hold it for too long. Secondly, Coal is a long ultimate. You can use the start of coal for one thing and the end for a different thing. I will often use coal for self-healing to get me out of a sticky situation where I have no cooldowns or I need more self-healing than a heal orb and right clicks will provide, and then once I've healed up, I may get aggressive with it or focus healing my team. I will use the first couple of seconds of coal for movement speed sometimes. To get a longer fade jump. To save a player I couldn't heal. To push an enemy at range out of their nice position into something more difficult for them to play. Honestly, it's quite a flexible ult, and you can usually find something to use it for even if you haven't really got a plan for it at the moment you use it. I wouldn't hold onto it for long though.

Sometimes I do, but usually 1) I want to heal myself first, 2) If I step backwards then even though my orb arrives quicker, I arrive slower to heal them, so it's not a huge benefit unless they are long range and I'm not heading in their direction.
