  I'm 0 negative and cmv free. Being cmv free is important because if a premature baby receives blood with cmv it can cause all kinds of bad things to happen. Including death.

  I often wondered if blood groups are magnet to their own. Because besides the How thing to see how many fingers. Apparently if I put a pinprick of my o neg blood on a surface and then my friend put a pinprick of her b plus on top, the different bloods would separate in front of my eyes. But if I put my o neg blood on surface and then put my other friends o neg blood a couple of centimetres away, they will pull towards each other. Dying to try it but no one intrested

  I am 45 now and have been continuing donating my blood since 1997 the year in which i reached 18 years. My blood group is O negative. I have so many times heard it is one of the rarest blood types , so i am so much proud of being a person with such type of blood.

  Im o- i had 2 sons (different fathers) my first husband was o- and we had o- baby was a wonderful easy pregnancy and he was delivered in 45 minutes 2nd son with next father who was b+ had an o+ baby and it was the worse pregnancy and delivery was over 25 hours and i literally almost died twice during delivery. Don't know exactly what that means also i was in direct contact many times with covid patients and never got it never got vaccine. Also never sick.

  I am O-Negative & would love to donate but can't because I once had Cytomegovirus which lays dormant in your body & would be given to my donor my Dr. warned me about this when I had the virus!!

  Repeating Nancy Finkelstein's question from last year. This isn't exactly a Quick Pass - it takes you back and forth through the explanation but omits to show you the PrintPass that you talk about. Surely it wouldn't take but a few moments to correct this error? And whilst you are at it move the URL to the right. I am fed up with filling everything in, and printing the pass only to find that because it is located so tight to the left that it cuts off the edge of the URL when it prints and it won't work when I get to the clinic, so I have to repeat the questionaire at the clinic. Quick pass? I don't think so.

  I’m O+, but I’d like to take a (long) second to thank and salute 🫡 all the O- people who had donated their blood, bc they can give to anyone, but can only receive their own O- type. And generally, to all people who donate blood and organ donors. That’s how you can identify who is a decent human being!!!!!! People who are selfless and donate and give themselves to help humanity - in most cases ppl that they don’t know and will never meet. We’re lucky as a species to have such people still living among us!!! G-d bless you all!!!!

  What is really cool is that both my mother and father had RH O Negative Blood so that meant that my three siblings and I also have RH O Negative Blood. Our dad was raised on a farm in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada with Romanian/Ukrainian parents and my mother was born and raised in the Ottawa Ontario area of Canada with French and Irish parents. My dad's mother wanted him to marry 'a good Ukranian Eastern Orthodox Christian girl that could keep a house, raise babies and run a farm". My Mother's mother wanted my mom to marry 'a good educated French Canadian Catholic boy". You can imagine their disappointments. But my point is that both my parents have the same RH O Negative Blood type and they met by accident.

  So, I find it amusing some would mention the christ. Not becouse its funny but becouse it has much more to do with it than you think. The vessel or cup, (if you will) in the last supper is only a chalise, not the holy grail. What was in the cup is. I believe its as simple as being a universal donor. He was just trying to inform a possible fact that his blood could heal anyone. Maybe one of the first O- aware. Just a thought to ponder.

  If O- can and willing to donate several times a year why not give a gift to take that extra time . I would donate more but it’s about 2 hours time travel time donate time and rest until ok time . Yes i’ve been told donation is just that a donation so best to always have a shortage rather not .

  I have O negative blood AND I'm also RH negative and CMV negative. donated from when I was 18 until my mid 50s-- blood clots put a stop to that.

  My hubby would never donate, Theres a lot of reasons not too, Jehovah witnesses bible thumpers dont either and were not organ donors, i can give you 20 reasons not too but if we heard it would save a baby! Yes but prefer to not let anyone know plus keep your Gold Blood vaccinefree!!!! My grandfather was a scientist also

  🩸In looking over my medical records, some of them say O- and the other records say O+. I did receive a Rhesus? shot after I gave birth, does that change your blood permanently? That's the point when all my records change from one to the other. 🧐
