After nearly eight decades of partnering with thousands of Pierce County donors to deliver lifesaving blood to local hospitals and patients in need, Cascade Regional Blood Services (CRBS) has decided to close its doors by February 29, 2024 and is supporting Bloodworks Northwest as it continues the mission to meet Pierce County’s needs by encouraging donors to keep giving locally. Donors can show their support for patients needing blood at MultiCare Health System by donating with CRBS by February 29 or by donating with Bloodworks Northwest going forward.
