Very nice... my favorite tone of the ones you've demoed... and absolutely beautiful! :)
why on earth would anyone buy a 4 string for thousands of dollars
What is sound intro?
Gonna order one if I get this spot in a band I'm auditioning for. The white is so clean. Wish me luck.
Nice!! What brand of strings comes with it?
Such nice demos!!!!!...what kind of looper do you use if i may ask?..bass wishes
Beautiful bass and piece of music too. ✌️🇬🇧💜
I’ve tried the preamp and it’s nice. But for the price I’ll stick with my Ampeg SCR DI. I’ve used this on tour with The Miracles and it’s a great unit that sounds to me every bit as good as any boutique unit at 2 or 3x the price. . Most of these boutique products are overpriced for the actual audio advantages they give you. Sure they’re good. But in the end a good player is going to sound good because he or she is a good player. And if you do a lot of studio work as I have done over the last 45 years, the sound engineer is going to tweak “your sound” to make it work in the mix. Bass players are notorious for hearing differences that aren’t there or don’t matter, and obsessing over their sound where literally nobody can tell the difference. But once they go down this rabbit hole it’s hard to drag them out of it. Spend more time becoming an accomplished player.
Wondering if that's my rig you are demoing here? 😸
Paul really shines in Automaton.
Great interview. The Monique Mailbox is quite awesome. Appreciate you using your gifts and humble nature. Bless You!!
I'm getting the JT3 as a 5-string and can't wait to play it. Can you perhaps tell me which PUs you used to play the last groove in the video? At about 3:32 min. thanks!
Nice video Morton 🙂 I love this amp!
Yo! What's the scale length on this beauty?
Thanks for sharing this 🎶🎵🎸
Excellent demo! as usual!!! This bass essentially nails the StingRay growl. punch and bite with the benefit of a 35-inch scale and zero fret!!! Is it active only or active/ passive?
This song cured my insomnia
With overdrive this amp can rip off the balls 💪❤
Man, I hope they eventually put these out again. Couldnt afford them at the time.
This was really a complete, informative talk... Besides that, Bass Buddha has always this welcoming vibe in all his videos that this interview format seems very natural. Good work... Keep on! (and thanks🙏🏻)
Such amazing basses and finishes. Maybe the best finishes out there... Great talk!
Would love to hear side by side comparisons with the Magellan.
Soulmate number 134 says hi
Can I give you just one small piece of advice ? Please use common bass techniques when demo-ing a bass. That’s how we can tell how it will sound in a typical application . Chords , lead solos and otherwise playing it like a guitar might be pretty , but that’s not typical bass technique.
Man - that bass is cool ! Great playing bro !!!
I never tire of watching this video! Since it was posted (5 years ago)... It has probably already been sold. I believe this is the perfect bass (for me). One day I will travel to Germany not only to see this wonderful country, but to order and buy an identical one to this one.
omg, that BP1 is huge :D. btw, cool bass!
I've been waiting for this for YEARS!!
Me too and it don't disappoint it's really great
I got a chance to jam with this woman at Paisley. She is hands down the best bassist I've ever been around. And she's an angel too. Ida is awesome.
Belíssimo tema ! Qual nome ?
Sounds great! I'd love to see a head-to-head against the GK Fusion S 800!
Agreed, that's the comparison I'd want. Throw in an old Streamliner for a Class D amps with 3x12AX7 tube pre shootout.
Yeah I haven't made one because I don't have one but as I recall it the Kinetix feels a tiny hair more vintage
@@BassBuddhathank you! Oh what size cab were you playing through for this? Much gratitude!
@@amanisax5630 I think he's playing through Genzler Nu Classic NC 1x12 and 2x10.
Great sounding ! Do you like it better through the nu classic cabs vs arrays? Any thoughts vs Gk fusion 800? Either way well done!
Same here, they seem very similar in terms of concept, form-factor and price. I wonder how they compare in sound.
To me the amp sounds great on both sets of cabs depending what you like the most. Makes sense with the Classics for the vintage sound and if you more to the modern sound the Arrays sound beautifully with the Kinetix 800. GK Vs. Genzler to me without A/B'ing it I think that the Kinetix is slightly more vintage and little more beefy in good way :-)
Thank you so much!!!🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Oh what size of cab did you use for vid? Thanks so much!🫡🤛🏼
Is it made in the US?
Says on the back "Designed and Inspected in USA", means they probably make it in Taiwan like the Magellan.
All Genzler amps and pedals, are produced in a Hi End facility in Taiwan, and as far as i know, Genzler is the only MI product built there.
The US isn't exactly the home of the world's best electronics manufacturing.
Interested in this head but this guy is playing all this silly bullshit in the demo. Making it sound terrible.
@@jagerking7020 Maybe you like Nate Navarro's demo better ;-)
Great amp
indeed
Learned so much from this discussion. Excellent!
dingwalls are freaking sick
Lovely bass. I used Rickenbackers, Stingrays and P-basses. I’m looking for something that can do bits of all of these (maybe minus the 4003, as that was used through a Darkglass and that was the main sound!) live. Think this could work?
Great Playing Master ....can you tell the name of song please ?...thanks....
I’m concerned Rickenbacker may have some issues with the design. Sounds incredible!
Ok. I have to get this.
I don’t get doing a demo and having so many layers of the same instrument muddying up the mix and making the tone ambiguous. I feel like this is to show off playing rather than demo an instrument which is why everyone clicked on this
Nice jam- filter pedals are great.🎸🫠
Woww❤🎉
Now with free stank face! She threw that in.
This is great!
I love mine. Assembled in China, quality checked in Canada, like the NG series.
Oh that's disappointing. China. Yuck.
I like the design! Hope you're in good health, nice to see you back recently
Ooooh so nice :-)
now that is an ugly bass
This. Love John Taylor, not so keen on this bass. I've never been a fan of signature models anyway.
I love the sound of this bass . It sounds monstrous. But I don't like these finishes. But the sound is crazy it sounds better than NG.
i like it better than the green one
👍👍👍
