    I think most ZZR owners have nearly dropped it like that. I nearly dropped my mine at T junction after putting my foot in a pot hole I’m 17 stone and had to fight it big time Thankfully like you I just kept it up right

    Cycled around the coast of Britain for charity in 2021, that part was one of the more memorable bits of the ride. Did it clockwise and was chased over the pass by crazy thunder, lightning and torrential rain. Loved it.

    A whole two years of riding! Still a learning really, anyway well done for tackling the three hairpin bends👍. Now, you need to get down to Austria/Italy and, tackle the 48 hairpins on the north side of the Stelvio Pass! Lol, you would love it. By the way, I'm nearly 70 years old and still riding, I've done Appelcross four times and Stelvio also four times and, I'll be doing it again this year 🏍👍.

    Twice now first on a 125 Super Cub and last year on a Rebel 1100 the 125 was clockwise from Glasgow the Rebel was anti Clockwise from Perth over the Cairngorms first then to JOG, I criss crossed the mid highlands twice as they are some of the best roads off the NC500, camping and not hostels both bikes were excellent but the Rebel was best for the motorways from Reading there and back. If you head straight on when coming out of Ullapool and do not take the NC500 route you will be blessed with one of the best roads across the highlands the A835 you could turn right before Garve across the 832 back to Kinlochewe to pick up the NC500 again you would not be disappointed if the weather is good.

    while doing my DAS i asked my instructors if they thought it would be a good idea to step up to an A2 first when i passed, and they basically surprised me by saying i should buy what i wanted, and that it's all about how you use the right hand. while i wouldn't dream of getting a fireblade or a busa, i did buy a bike with a fair bit of poke, but nothing as big as 1400, and my initial worry faded away in minutes when i found it was so easy to ride, if you don't get carried away that is. GL

  • @YoureGettingaWhat
    @YoureGettingaWhat4 ай бұрын

    Yeah that is absolutely right, I also have an old GSXR 600 which has a very snatchy throttle and is much more difficult to ride than the Z. What bike do you ride ?

  • @Bob-ts2tu
    @Bob-ts2tu4 ай бұрын

    @@YoureGettingaWhati bought a cb750 hornet, loving it so far, so nimble and easy, but a small worry was that a few reviewers alluded to a snatchy throttle on it too, and all i can say is that to a point yes, it can be when you first ride it, but it's no worse than a 125, or even the 650 bikes i did my DAS on, but if you treat it gently it's no problem at low speed in traffic, and you get used to anything soon enough anyway.
