Weird. When the wind came apart was the time with the least wing loading of the while flight!! Crazy. But I have been there. In even less time than this flight. 18k in 3.28 minutes!

The A4e skyhawk had a variant without a dorsal pod, so without the dorsal pod, it is still an A4e. The A4D was the generic name which is now the A4 skyhawk, and the A4C had a way smaller nose than the A4e

How in the hell is it possible that jet cost $30,000? It costs more than my car. It costs more than both of my motorcycles combined . A fool and his money soon separate . The real reason it’s that obscenely expensive is because people will pay it.

first hop, two passes, gear up, gear down, land. No stunts, no loops, spins, rolls, nothing... get it down and check it out. Check everything... before sending up again. This clown did none of that and it cost him everything.

I hope that structural failure is covered under warranty! Seriously my dream jet is a giant twin turbine A-10 Thunderbolt II……but that’s only after I win $200 million dollars in the lottery and $30-$60 thousand dollars is only pocket change. Otherwise if I’m gonna spend $30-$60 thousand dollars it gonna be on a new Indian or Harley motorcycle.

I’m into rc stuff, cars, boats, planes, I have one electric ducted fan jet, it’s very fast and slow but I’m mostly into boats, all I can say is 30,000 for one jet-why? why? Why? I could build 30 1,000.00 dollar maxed out rc vehicles or more 🤷🏻🤷🏻🤷🏻🤔???

I can tell you what’s going on , when you maiden a new aircraft you don’t loop and roll it, you don’t pull multiple g’s on it. You fly it straight and level, you test the landing gear retracts, you test the Ailerons and flaps, you test the elevator and rudder and most of all you check the trim and range test it. That plane was doomed before it took off.

Those tests wouldn't have found the weakness in the wings. It would have folded on the next flight or the flight after. This plane was doomed but not because he pushed it on the maiden.

I disagree. When I maiden an airplane, I usually perform an aileron roll just after take off going into a knife edge pass. That confirms I have my set up right.

I worked in a busy hobby shop in Michigan City as a teenager - 1964-1970 after school and weekends. I was immersed in slot cars, model rockets, model airplanes, of course. Control Line Combat was by far the most exhilarating of these things; we would build models late into Saturday night to fly/crash the next day. Really takes me back;' the quality of the video and skill of the two fliers... wow.

People ran to 2.4 Ghz toi get brown out lost signals, and there is a 7C radio in mint shape for $5, that will last you a lifetime. Don't keep up with the Joneses in the RC hobby, it's a pretentious thing to do. Rock solid 72 Mhz is all I've used for 45 years. eBay has receivers for $10 ea, but of course, you wouldn't waste your time on a 250 gram foam litter thing shaped into an airplane...just bust out some rubber band motors and test your trimming slills with free fligtht, incidence, thrust angle, and balance. Look who I'm talking too, ARF and BNF pilots without a clue. Never mind.
