  On normal multiplayer missions I usually roll with Max HP so I get the most out of Medicae stations, but for this specific scenario (Rolling with slab shield in true solo) I go with Max Stamina for a few reasons. For one, it means I can block more ranged attacks safely so I can taunt shooters and pull them towards me (Gunners and reapers won't go into melee range though), plus I can block crusher overheads without worrying about running out of stamina and taking the full hit, since those are prolly one of the most dangerous enemies in the game if left unchecked. Max stamina also lets me push wayyyy more so I can get a lot of space and I can make sure I have enough stamina to push trappers/flamers/dogs since those can end a run in an instant, and I also go with stamina regen in this case since it helps prevent me from running out of stamina (If you block an attack when you're of out stamina, you become unable to dodge for a second, which can mean death in these cases). Max toughness is also extremely good if you have the build for it, like if you pick a lot of toughness nodes in the talent tree and have melee/ranged weapons that grant toughness on hit/per shot, since stacking that with damage resistance and toughness damage resistance means you can take on hordes of shooters and not have to worry about having your toughness broken at all.

  This brings a lot into question about scaling. Game time said 4 minutes in the end, not to mention he ran this as a level 7 and managed to 1-2 shot rangers and reapers with a shield.

  Yeah it has to do with the true solo mod, as it prevents you from getting loot/rewards for completing the mission which also makes the reward screen look buggy

  They need to add more maps , it's not that hard to be honest i'm a 3D modeler myself and they can do this within a couple of weeks, the game is absolutely incredible but it lacks maps and more interesting mods

  Since launch? More maps, couple new weapons, and a ton more special conditions. Not as much as we were all hoping for, though. It's slow, but they're making steady improvements. That being said, if you found the gameplay to be repetitive, I doubt there will be much for ya, as it's p much the same game. My enjoyment from this game comes from the absolute chaos on the hardest difficulties, heh.

  these tricks have A LOT to do with how your session is running and syncing with other players. Trying this solo vs in a group im worried there will be very different results

  Using this strat on 3 hit thing is reasonable but saving one pickaxe hit of gold or compacted dirt or heck umanite is really not worth the effort and just a waste of ammo, since you have your power attack to fasten the mining of gold or compacted dirt and resoursces like umanite or hollomite, heck even magnite can in most cases be mind at the rot to instanty destroy them, overall it's and okay tech 7/10 imo useful solo, but most of the time not much really.

  You can do something similar with most of gunners weapons. Minigun, autocannon, hurricane, and bulldog create slag on the ground in most biomes, which is a 2 hit. Makes hot rock which I think is 2 hits in magma core, and I think it makes carbon a 1 hit in hollow bough. Useful in all the 3 hit biomes, and in hollow bough

  Does bhopping work better when not holding movement keys? I know it works rhat way in some games

  Holding forward just makes it harder to turn, but holding left/right (A/D) while turning does make it easier to control. It's kind of in the same vein as source games like TF2 or Quake, except there's no acceleration on turn (But you can stack impulses like the shotgun blast!)
