Is it a muay boran match if you can't head butt and you can win by points?

i don't know much about it, but this fight is more similar to K1, than boran... i don't se the genuine techniques from boran, and if the refree doesn't exist in m boran XD That's true, if the entire m boran techniques were used, the fight would have ended soon and very badly. However a little bit more of m boran, could be watched

Muay Khad Chueak or Muay Boran is an ancient Thai boxing that uses ropes to wrap fists instead of gloves like modern Thai boxing. Ancient boxing is a dangerous boxing used to fight against enemies. Some of the stances used in fighting are cut from Muay Thai because they are very dangerous. The boxing that will be punched is called boxing kard choe, should call the boxing name correctly first. The history of Muay Thai will be distorted.

Davies fighting kinda dirty and ran out of gas after mid second round maybe. Tate should've finished that fight sooner. I'm guessing this was early in his career, cardio levels needed improvement. Ether way, always much respect to the gentlemen who step into the ring.

My sentiments exactly. This is embarrassing. No idea how tate can talk such smack about his fighting abilities when there’s clear video evidence that he’s terrible. It makes a mockery of his titles. I can only assume he fought chumps.

Indeed some of the techniques used are part of the Muay Boran repertoire, but this is not a Muay Boran fight; neither in the rules of the fight, nor in the tactics of the fighters. It is simply a Muay Thai match with rope wraps (Kaard Chuek). The only disciplines that come close to how a Muay Boran fight should be are Kudo and Lethwei. If Wrestling below the waistline was legal in Lethwei then it would be 100% a Muay Boran fight.
