I love the Broadway Musical Oliver, if you come across either the 64' cast recording ( featuring Georgia Brown, Clive Reville and Davey Jones, that would be a good find. Or the 68' movie soundtrack featuring Shanni Wallace! Either of those tapes would be awesome!!

Moon River is one of the most beautiful songs ever written, that Harmonica in the opening is haunting. When ever I would get anxious as a kid, I popped in this ( on cassette) and this song always calmed Me.

Sinatra and Martin were tight, however that didn't mean there wasn't competition between them. The first track was famous for knocking the Beatles off the charts. Sinatra tried to accomplish this but to no avail . Sinatra's last #1 was Somethin' stupid, a duet with daughter Nancy in the summer of 68' ( the year I was born!!!)

And the running order switches the vinyl sides in the way that the 7.5ips reel-to-reel releases did (to have the shorter side second and thus the extended runoff at the end), which made me wonder if this was an official prerecorded copy where the owner lost the original box. But then I'm sure I can vinyl crackle at the start of The Other One, suggesting it is a vinyl dub and was just wound to the start of Side 2. In any case, I quite like the vintage sound. Wish it had been Aoxomoxoa though, where the original mix is even more radically different from the early 70s remix.
