Hi, the Lipo is a 3s 450mah and the Prop is an 8x4 Nylon Prop , hope that helps :)
@MrDomP thankyou sir 🙏 recently started flying the crack beaver cool little foamy just trying to workout the right combo atm as I didn't buy the electronics .. started with a 2s setup but was struggling with my windy conditions now I have a 3s 450 with 8x6 was trying to see if anyone's run it with an 850 and if can take the extra weight befor I buy some heavier packs
No Problem , your Welcome ! glad your enjoying the beaver, its a great plane to practise 3D & Sports Aerobatics , to be honest I havent tried any bigger size lipo as i find it flys perfect with the 450mah 3s , but it does recommend up to a 720mah , so you could give it a try see how you get on ! Hi , This is the 78" Pilot Dolphin , it flys lovely with no bad habits at all and slow flight is nice with flaps deployed , is my friends Jet and I beleive there is a Giro onboard , would deftinately recommend this Jet

hiya, I wouldnt recommend this model for Snap rolls , its more of a low wing aerobatic trainer style , I would probably suggest an Acrowot which will snap roll and they fly very well and well behaved ! hope that helps :)

Great News, you will love flying this plane ! flys beautiful ! , I have Futaba S3010,s on all the control surfaces and the engine is an ASP 80 Fourstroke , I would suggest a Saito FA82 , that would be a perfect combination :) , enjoy !

Thanks for posting the video. A couple of questions, what size prop did you run on the SC52 and what CofG did you settle on?
Hi Paul Thankyou for watching , to be honest I did a lot of reading as well with the CofG on forums and saw there was a lot of people having tail heavy characteristics with the plan CofG which I think was 135mm back from the leading edge , I ended bringing it right forward to 110mm with a slight nose down when balanced , had to add in a lot of weight inside the cowl to achieve this but she flys perfectly on quarter to half throttle as you can see , the prop size is a 12x6 Apc but I have just bought a nice wooden 12x6 for next year , i wouid definitely go with a more forward CofG , I wish you the best of luck with yours and hope you enjoy flying her as much as I love mine , regards Dom

Ive returned to the hobby after a 20+ year absence and took the foam PNP route as a first step to get my eye back in, earlier this year and I’ve picked up a second hand Puppeteer as a winter refurb project. I have an SC52 four stroke to install so the info you shared will be very helpful, thank you. One last question, your Puppeteer looks great, what covering did you opt for?
@@Paul_Bee amazing , must be lovely to return to such a great rewarding hobby again :) , my Pup is covered in Solartex cream antique and drab green I know it’s expensive but it finishes it off so well and the woven material within the Solartex gives good protection from fuel , that’s what I would use , hope that helps Paul :)
How did you go with the COG. I have heard the manual is incorrect. Where did you put yours? Cheers.
Hiya Matt , I purchased the plane 2nd Hand so it had all been set up already and flew very well , I believe it’s 70mm back from the Leading edge , if it feels too pitchy at that cog then come a touch forward and have it nose heavy I think the wing spa is slightly in front of the recommended cog , I no longer have the Yak anymore as I sold it , but I hope that helps mate , best of luck with the maiden it’s a lovely plane :)
After crash i bought the second yak-54 the same from seagull , with new calculate Cg is not 7 or 8 cm like the seagull say; it's 12cm with engine Dle 20cc. have nice day.

Hiya Buddy , thanks for your kind comment , Great choice of engine , you’ll love flying it , I went with the instruction manual COG recommendation whatever that was , I since sold the plane but I think there may have been a tiny bit of weight on the firewall , I know I didn’t add any weight to the Tail , I hope that helps you out , regards Dom

Thanks Lee , I fly it on a 4S 3300 and the battery sits in a hatch made behind the firewall on the bottom of the fuselage if that helps buddy !

Nice flying,I built a Hurri years ago but smashed it too pieces,long story but it flew well but had very sensitive ailerons and was very fast, my skill level at that stage was low and it got too far away from me and I lost my orientation, I have joined the wing back together but the fuse was not salvageable, one day when I feel inclined I may build a new fuse, good to see you are having more luck with yours, it looks like its on rails.
gogogeedus thanks for the kind words , you should definitely rebuild a fuselage for the wings, least it’s only half the work involved ! The VQ one I have actually fly’s lovely I was pleasantly surprised for such a reasonably priced warbird ! But a lot of people say they are good ! , happy landings :)

Hi Duzit, my GPU is Nvidia GTX1080, my CPU is an 8700k overclocked to 4.6 and Memory 16GB Ram with 1TB SSD , you can see the specs below from Wired 2 Fire where i purchased the PC from www.wired2fire.co.uk/sim-xtreme-high-end-flight-sim.html occasionally there is the odd stutter using add on ORBX airports but its not too bad at all :)
