Topre, my beloved. Cool cable btw
sounds clean. sho so good
are there any foams?
no:)
Mode sonnet is over hyped. It's a hollow sounding board. The Mode Loop is a little better.
I agree!
@@lyontypes kinda frustrating considering its price tag
@Jhnkxz moreover, boards like Zoom, QK and Neo seem to have a better surface treatment and overall quality:(( them > Mode
@@lyontypes oh yeah qwertykeys especially Neo board did not disappoint at all and the affordability is unmatched.
TBH, this keyboard is my worst purchase since I joined this hobby.
Why?
@emmett3344 There are so many issues on this keyboard. Not worth buying at all.
@@jakegoodboyy I have one and absolutely love it, what issues do you have?
@@emmett3344 You might not notice it, Let me explain to you! 1.The alignment issue: Before you screw in the top and bottom case together you have to shift the top case as left as you can and then screw it in together, otherwise your left column keys will be rub againt the case while you press it. 2.Take a look at the bottom left corner of the F5 key (F-Row frame). You will notice that the bottom left corner doesn't round the same angle as others 3.Plate issue: The POM plate that they sell has alignment issue on the left column especialy on the ESC key. If you use a POM plate you will clearly see that the ESC key will be forced to stick to the left of the frame. The solution is do not use or order the POM plate. All of these issue, They (Mode) already known but they decide to do NOTHING with these. That's why I called this my worst purchase keyboard of all time! Have a good day.
@@jakegoodboyy Huh interesting, I do not have any of the same alignment issues that you have and I have an aluminum plate so I do not have the same woes that you have regarding the POM plate. Everything on my board is nicely spaced with no weird case rubbing, including a consistently rounded f-row. Sorry to hear that yours is a bit messed up. Have a good day!
wait how did you put the usb thr
hmmmm what do you mean?
@@lyontypes how did you connect the usb to the monitor arm? I have the same monitor arm and din know that was possible haha
@appleborbs5065 oh, i bought a USB Female-to-Male cable. You can unscrew the bottom cap and slot in the Female head before screwing the cap back:D Alternatively, I believe that Bayou does sell the same arm with USB ports ready
whats the difference between hyperglide and normal?
hey there! its just the version of Cherry MX switches. Here’s the history of Cherry MX: Vintage -> Retooled -> Hyperglide -> MX2A Of course there were some variations here and there, for e.g. Pre-Retooled MX switches prior to Retooled version. I hope this info helps!
Nice! I just ordered the 3
Those hi-pro keycaps look sick
Good stuff :) Did you notice and sound or feel difference between the stock keycaps and KBDFans? Thanks!
KBDFans sounds a bit thinner compared to the stock PBT keycaps from HHKB
bro actually traded an F2 for an envoy 💀
It looks like you’re having to hold up on the keyboard. Perhaps due to the weight of the domes?
I was resting my elbow on my desk:D Personally I prefer to lift my palms above my desk if not I have to arch my wrist which I can feel the strain after long hours of typing
What PCB used?
Please can you link your cable or at least explain what material the sleeving is? It seems less rigid than mine.
Not gonna lie, I haven't heard a single bad sounding Neo80. One of my favorite boards!
👀👍! sho good XD
HAHAA and youre right about it !!
Did u mod anything ?
top mount or o ring?
oring!:)
sounds awesome
i have the same switches and lubed all of them with Krytox 205G0. Some switches it was impossible for me to remove the scratchiness of them. But 90% of the charge I was buying are very fine.
Thanks for the Envoy lol
what's the mousepad?
bro wtf is that noise is that your desk vibrating
Is there any difference between this version and PFU limited edition? TKS!
I actually think stock sounds better
How do you like the feel/sound with a plate vs plateless? What mounting style did you use?
plateless feels bouncier and slightly muted whereas plate gives a firmer typing experience. personally i prefer CF plate for this board:’)
What do you think compared to f1?
F1 definitely has a cleaner sound profile:’) F2 sounds muted and hollow compared to F1. By no means F2 sounds bad, the above comments are just in comparison to F1. And also I have only tested F1-722, I can’t say the same for the other F1 variants:D
Nice noice
Where did you get it?
bought it from Carousell!:)
@@lyontypesI got mine now😊where did you buy the cable?
Nice build. You got one heck of a good deal!
Why y'all so obsessed with owning that particular office-/-"productivity" mice? Is that mouse truly endgame?
personally using so many mice, I have to agree that MX master is one of, if not the “endgame” mouse in the market. Still up to personal preference though, eg some might prefer lighter mouse with customisable DPI like a Razer Viper
This sounds so nice! Can I also ask where you got your cable from? :) I like the metal USB connector!
yeah also keen to know where the cable is from
I have a question, do you like tactile switches? If you do, what are some of your favorites?
mx browns, mx ergo clear, boba u4t and chosfox voyagers !! not a super huge fan of MX style tactile switches, i personally will prefer Topre for tactile feel
Damn you are so insane to be able to trade Envoy for this. it is like half the price of this F2
its with reasonable amount of top up🤧
nice build, link to cable?
How did you trade the envoy for an F2? That is an insane deal!
the dude wanted a 65% badly🤧🤧 but i topped up quite a fair bit so that it isnt daylight robbery LOL
so nice. this is one of those boards I really wanna pick up one day :)
yepp this is also one of the boards that leaves me a strong impression! very clean, high quality and endgame type of beat:P
Pure berry never misses, great sound on the W1!
yessirr !! thank you for the appreciation:D
waittt this is so good wtff
oh man thats not half bad
its sounds chalky i love it
👀👍! sounds nice! any thoughts on modding the keyboard? (ps spacebar stabs need some work XD)
definitely!:) the Sho66 casing just came in and I will do all the mods at once:P
Sounds like you're plugging bullet wounds with your fingers.
bro wut
what springs are you using?
im using stock switches here so no spring swap:)
Stock hyperglides? What a chad move
👀👍! any thoughts on the tomo?
overall a very solid 75% board which I will pick over the Sonnet (unless looks customisation is important to you). I haven’t try other 75% like Gok 7V to justify that Tomo is the best, however with the price cut from aftermarket, its really worth trying!
I have these in a Neo65, no RGB, and I love them but have the WS Morandi in my Q1 Pro, they are very similar but the Morandi are a little more muted. Amazing sound in the Q1!
what plate?
alu:)
Damnn nutty
how are the stock stabilizers? it sounds like theres some ticking coming from the keys or stabilizer
slight tick from the keycaps://
@@lyontypes do you think you’ll attempt to mod them sometime in the future? id definitely be interested in hearing how they sound before and after on the newer boards
