another board "baited" by Alexotos to purchase and I don't know why but I wanted to have a MX "HHKB" board so I decided to buy the Molly60.
Price is budget-friendly, however the GB took super long to fulfill. It was expected to be delivered in Sep 2023 but I only received my Molly60 in Jan 2024 after the production delays and missing parts shipped from the manufacturer.
The price speaks for its quality. Sprayed paint treatment, PC plate has a ton of frails that were not trimmed off and the keyboard casing feels soft with low quality materials used.
Nonetheless, I procrastinated this sound test video since there were issues that came along with the board such as the PCB booting into UFS mode all the time and I had to get a replacement myself. I also had to resolder the hotswap sockets to get split backspace and shift keys to make it a true HHKB board.
As you can tell, I rushed this build and it sounds disgusting. The board is slightly hollow (clacky switches will be really nice) and the foams included still don't allow me to build a thocky keyboard... The stabilisers were badly tuned and I will fix them for the next sound test video hehe.
