Vivezbien Creations

Vivezbien Creations

Welcome! My name is Myra, and I love creating. Acrylic pours and resin castings are so satisfying for me and give me an outlet to just get in a zone and do something (even if it turns out bad!).

I've been doing this off and on for years, and after some egging on by my friends, I figured why not put myself out there? So, here I am. I'm also in the process of trying to get my pieces out there in all the homes, so if you want to check out some of what I have to offer, please check out my etsy or my site! Also, don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe here!

    I don't use an app to draw the designs. For this piece a friend sent me a picture of something she liked and I drew this in my own way using a pencil. I then painted the canvas before I used resin over it.

    That's very interesting. Could it work on crushed clear beer glass bottles as well? I don't drink but I have friends and my adult son that save them for me in all colors including clear. - Heidi

  • @VivezbienCreations
    @VivezbienCreations6 ай бұрын

    Hi Heidi! I think that could work! The crushed glass I have been dying is just mirror fragments so a clear crushed bottle should work too!

    Can we do it with acrylic inks also?

  • @VivezbienCreations
    @VivezbienCreations7 ай бұрын

    I just dropped some acrylic ink in some glass to see what happens! So far it looks good. Just waiting for it to dry, then I'll try to see how it works in a project!

  • @VivezbienCreations
    @VivezbienCreations6 ай бұрын

    The acrylic ink seems to work so far. It takes longer to dry (probably due to there being no alcohol to aid the drying process). Since it's been a few weeks I feel more confident about using the glass in resin now and plan to do so this weekend!

    And what are you going to do with these dyed pieces of glass? I do glass fusing. Can these pieces be used in that application (fusing). Will you glue the pieces to something else like a mirror frame or glassware? The technique is wonderful, but what are the applications of the dyed material?

  • @VivezbienCreations
    @VivezbienCreations7 ай бұрын

    Hi! I'm not sure about using them for glass fusing, but for myself I use them in some of my other crafts (mainly resin geode type pieces). These yellow ones I specifically used for a more colorful geode piece that I made about a year ago!

    Yes I definitely learned that I have to leave the delicate items longer but that I also have to be more gentle in general. When I'm removing resin pieces I don't even think twice about if I'm pulling too hard 😅

    That was ur best bet if u don’t have a larger desktop uv lamp😊2 cure it with. Also also u can put a mirror under that badboy n double up curing from the underside🤩🪞🌞& like someone else said too them chameleon powders, especially the No Name brands aren’t heavily pigmented so if u want that Color~Shift, ur gonna have to do it using a black/dark tinted color or u can mix it with a black pigment & pour it directly in but ur gonna need to work hard making sure it cures. U can paint the mold with the powder then pour a black transparent resin.
