@@theboneyard99 no I didn’t have to once every month I did re torque the spacers to make sure they didn’t come loose or anything but that’s just me being picky. Never had a issue with them.

Nice video on the fix! I am not sure what you were saying when you called LS7 heads trash, they are among the best of the LS family. If the Z28's and Z06's blowing up motors, it isn't the heads fault. If they are adding power to the engine and not doing any upgrades to the heads, it is their fault. Porting and polishing those puppies should get them what they need. LS3 and LS7 heads are almost identical castings, except the LS7's run a bigger valve. In stock form it is hard to beat em!

It's funny when people talk about the car losing value when you change out the original components. Guys, these care aren't worth much to the collector and probably never will. These cars are perfect the way they are because of the price you pay for them. But and it's a important point, being less expensive then a first or second gen means we can afford them. Another but is that they need upgrading. They're pretty low on power and the interior is a bit chincy. So don't worry about what people say. Go ahead and customize them for "you". When it comes time to sell them, just let people know what you've put into it and go from there. No one gets their money back on this kind of thing. Enjoy and let the nay sayers say what they want. Enjoy and cheers from Canada

If you notice when you pulled out your gauges and those little round turn signal is supposed to be a green plastic piece in each one of them so you put everything back together your turn signals on the outside of the bezel is supposed to be green

Mentioned the clock in the console that only came with the custom deluxe interior and none of those cars you showed had a clock in the console order mine in 84 still have it and that clock in the console is very rare great job on your video 3rd generation is a great car

Its all about the planning, definitely an LS is the way to go. These are perfect candidate for that swap, tour your junk yards for a complete motor, including all the accessories, wiring, CPU, etc, etc. I used OEM manifolds i customized to fit, work fine. You can use the truck intake however, you will have to trim the support structure on the underside of the hood. Also, the truck alternator location will not fit, you will have to cut a 3+" hole in the hood. I am planning on installing hood heat extractors / vents, so i will simply incorporate them with Alt. hole. Lastly, i would suggest you watch LSXMatt on you-tube for more ideas, he does a great job. Good luck. Beautiful car.
