This is extremely helpful for anxious people like me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, I have watched so many videos about therapies but yours is the only one I’ve seen that does not make me feel more anxious watching people explaining about anxiety itself 😅, thanks to your calm presence and very followable pace when you talk, makes my monkey brain like me feel like I can grasp the ideas and understand through a stream of infos. Thank you again

If one has every reason to worry, being in pain 24/7 not getting any help, being the only provider of children, no or little social support, short job periods not knowing if will be offered another period next, sick parents - care taking them and all that comes along with that etc, having skin conditions that’s very much visible on the face which makes social interactions difficult etc

Awesome! I’m in the 4% of the population. But seriously, I’ve never seen a more perfect diagnosis and explanation. I wish I had seen this video 40 years ago. This is very good information.

Thanks a lot for this video. I might be too aggressive and want to achieve every one of my goals. I thought I could solve every problem by myself. But in fact, it was not true.

I'm 75 and I have GAD and have been diagnosed with this 10yrs ago. I refuse to worry about anything anymore. My issues are overwhelming responsibility concerning keeping my house it's too much for me to deal with also toxic people mostly relatives. Well I'm going to sell my house and get all toxic people out of my life. At 75 I don't need to keep tolerating my situation when I can change it. Down size to Senior Apartment with less responsibility. And forget everything especially toxic people. I'm feeling better already. Thank You DR. It's the overload of responsibilities that's it wish me luck every one ❤

I recognize things of myself but just want to say Jesus is Lord and walking with Him will make you get delivered from all we are not meant to live with our whole life. 100! Accepting Him as Lord and savior changed my life. These type of disorders and stuff really can make you feel so depressed and there are many who that took their lives cause of stress and anxiety. The worst thing is when someone with GAD cares about someone with an avoidant-attachment. They can be cruel to someone with GAD. One actually yelled at me saying, "WHY DO YOU CARE!!???"

Symptoms can be visible, more than once i have been asked why i was shacking so much. You forgot one of the downsides include lower life span since the constant adrenaline overworks the heart.

Understanding anxiety is the key to relief! Understand it's not going to kill you! Understand your heart can beat up to hundreds of beats per minute, but it won't kill you. Just understand it, it's the key to success.

Once you stepped in & live in Singapore ,you eventually begin to live in GAD, constantly. It's the society & culture that will dictate it to anyone. For example in a general work environment that there's a constant deadline & at times are really unachievable .So I think the support is very important .To add to the GAD is the high cost of living.

He's given me SEVERE PTSD. I have debilitating paralyzing daily panic attacks. The PTSD is unbearable. I drowned. I suffocate. I die inside. Every morning I wake up in despair, desperately praying to die. He betrayed and abandoned me, discarded me like garbage. I'm so fucking traumatized and terrorized and terrified. I'm dying inside. My soul is raped. He's given me severe PTSD. Severe! Severe! Severe!

CBT/DBT: 1. BLAME *YOURSELF* FOR SYSTEMIC & GENETIC NIGHTMARE FUEL IN YOUR LIFE. CALL THIS SOME NUANCED MF BS LIKE "ACCEPTANCE". 2. GASLIGHT YOURSELF INTO THINKING ITS THERAPUTIC TO FELLATE SYMTOMS & IGNORE CAUSUAL ISSUES. 3. FELLATE YOUR SELF WORSHIPPING POS THERAPIST WHO SHOULD BE FIXING THE REPLICATION CRISIS. 4. QUIT, SELF MEDICATE OR SELF HARM.
