  I started collecting in 2019, I grew up with the original trilogy but born around the same time Disney bought Star Wars, you forgot to include vlix in the droid's line, he's also one of the figures on the more valuable side.

  That commercial is intentionally misleading. Captain America is the only one with the shield and it's facing away from the camera to give the impression that it's _his_ shield and not the generic shield that all the figures came with.

  I was seven when Star Wars came out. At that time I was playing with my Six Million Man collection and an original toy line called Micro-naughts? ( way before Transformers.) Before that it was G.I. Joe and of course MEGO action figures. Marvel and DC heroes! But my favorite was The Planet of Apes line. Obviously Kenner hit a home run with the 3 3/4" figures. But I've always try to imagine what MEGO what have done with this phenomenal franchise. ??? Great video! Well done! Thank you! * BTW.... If you got the Hoth playset you need your poor going up. Who wanted that over the ATAT. Lol?! That was Me .

  Here's my list of characters who should've had a figure (1978-85) Tarkin, Biggs, Owen and Beru, Wedge, rebel soldiers like the ones on Leia's ship, Veers, Canteen bartender (a no brainer for the canteen playset)

  I never cared one bit about the character or cartoon of Rainbow Brite, but I sure made mom get a couple boxes of the cereal every single week. I loved the fruity flavor and mom would buy it because I would actually eat breakfast. lol It was the exact same with the Strawberry Shortcake cereal.

  I was 4 in 82. My parents would sleep till noon and I'd have TV all to myself. I'd sit right in front of the TV with a box of cereal and a gallon of milk, eating multiple bowls of cereal and making a mess. I'd spend the morning flipping through the channels and watching all my favorite shows. Great memories.

  I remember a few years back seeing a YT video of some teens trying out a never before opened box of Real Ghostbusters cereal from 1987 and coming to the sad realisation what they are eating is older than them. 😥 Also they made a Steve Urkel breakfast cereal? 🤦‍♂

  I'm happy to somewhat defend the 2004 PC game. It faithfully recreates the TV show even with the off voice overs. As a Chase HQ ripoff it's absolutely fine. What frustrates me about this game is they had the tools (unfortunately not the money) to do this as a GTA style game with the Chase HQ elements for the driving sections. So close yet so far. 😥

  I'm not sure Lucas was confident about Holiday Special figures doing well as he hated the entire idea of the Holiday Special all the way through. It got made because he couldn't by contract veto the idea.

  I was born in 1985. I have never heard of half of these. It just goes to show you how quickly these disappeared in 4 years. Meanwhile, " The Simpsons" has seamlessly lasted from this era all the way to now.

  David Warner being cast has been debunked SEVERAL times... by Wes Craven himself as well as several others who worked on the film and who have written books about the films themselves. He NEVER was in contention to be Freddy - not even a little bit. With Halloween coming around again, I'm sure this (otherwise AMAZING) video will get TONS of views so I just wanted to stop the rumor from spreading more and more again. Just throwing it out there!

  very nice. this brought back A LOT of memories. I had the Besbin World micro playset and the full size AT- AT. honesty, the most hours I logged in playing was perhaps with the original Cantina. so much fun.😊
