Four D Ranch

Four D Ranch

Welcome to Four D Ranch. This channel will feature all the things I do for fun, for family, and sometimes, for no reason at all. We live on 40 acres in Texas and therefore much of this channel will feature things like raising cows, dogs, livestock, hunting, fishing, gardening, cooking, and guns. Just basic Texas stuff. I also show how I fix things that I can fix like cars, tractors, appliances, machinery, and whatever else that breaks down. C'mon in and stay a while...

Never had this problem with my 03 f250 6.8. Solid front axle with 160k miles on it now. Then again my truck is rocking leaf springs seems to me that this really only was a problem when they went to the coil springs on the super duties.

100% right about doing it for cheaper at an oil change place. You might end up spending alittle more money doing it yourself but at least you know for sure the job is done the right way

Did my 2013 F250 King Ranch and a world of difference. Took me 3 days to get it done working on it after work. My kit was the $300 silicone that works well and bought the Dorman bolts so far. Took the savings and installed Rough Country E-boards that are awesome for my short wife.

11:52 the "Spark plug hole" is there so you can use a spark plug socket, its not meant for "full access" this way you can use a regular spark plug socket with direct unobstructed access to it , and not have to mess around with tiny turns with an open ended wrench.

Did it actually take you 1.5-hours to assemble? It took me 3-hours but I wasted 1/2 hour because the table holes didn’t align properly. Surprisingly, it wasn’t missing any parts. The BILT app was helpful. My thermometer does not leak smoke. My lid fits perfectly. FJB 🖕🇨🇳

I love your approach and attitude! Thank you for the video, which I found after messing up one captive nut --- it's right behind the seat (2010 Plain Jane F250), and I can cut the bolt and pull it out from the top. The other 5 I fretted about a LOT after this and other posts. I have easy access to all of them though. I hit them with a air-acetylene torch (something EVERYONE needs to own) for about a minute and then used an impact wrench. All 5 others came out easily. And this is a Coastal Maine truck since 2012. Now I'm fretting a bit about removing the parts and installing the new ones..... two days ago replaced all the bed rails and shocks, looking forward to a better ride all around.

My 1984C locked and jammed today. Half cycled. Your video helped me disassemble it and clear the jam. Not the first time this happened, but, the first time I attempted the fix. The round would not move until the lever was taken out. I did remove the tube, etc. Every thing you showed was important to the process. Thank you. Now I can fix this jam…

Nice. I have never done the Micros myself. I always have bought the packs! I used Calcium Nitrate for my fast acting calcium. I have tried calcium chloride, but it get warm when you water it in and I have problems with it getting hard. I still use Lime in my preplant and put a little in my weekly feed as well, but it is very slow acting and takes a while to become bio-available to the plant. Jacob Mittleider used calcium nitrate in his original books as well as a supplement for treating deficiencies, just do try to tell Jim Kennard that or you will be banned.

I replaced my mounts with S&B bushings on my 2007 Ford f250. My truck was harder to do because you have to remove the seats and pull back carpet to get bolts out. It was a job, I had 2 bolts hard to remove, 0ne inside front frame next to the headlight, the other one was in the rear cab. You cannot use a impack, only a pry bar, did mine w/o heat just muscles. Gotter done December 2022 rides very smooth.👍

Well, now I know why mine blows blue smoke thru my entire yard! That blue cloud surrounded me to where, in order to breath, I needed to walk away from the machine. I wasn't laying the handles back on my driveway to check the oil level. The machine was standing upright on its wheels....LOL Thanks for the tips and after over-wintering the unit, she started up after three pulls. Still works great after three years. -- *SUBSCRIBED!* --

In central California, there are small lots of land, some 2.5 acres or so, dedicated to both crop growing as well as live-stock raising, which has raised the question of what that would be considered, farm or ranch? Thanks for opening the discussion!

Great! I used this video to remove my FCIM. The dealer didn’t know what would happen. Now I do I want to post this since the replacement part is back ordered. With the FCIM disconnected the car starts, drives, you can control the radio from the touchscreen. The problem is that as a safety feature the system defaults to front defroster on, full fan, full heat. You cannot control this and I got very uncomfortable in 10 minutes. Mine is a 2013 Explorer Limited

I see many using the sawdust. in their beds. Jacob Mitleider was showing people all over the world how to grow food where they did not have soil. He developed using sawdust for those areas. Where you have a soil that is good to begin with. You don't need the saw dust. Search You Tube for this video title. "Mittleider Gardening: Tomato Soil Comparison Update" Young mother did a comparison of growing in saw dust , to growing in organic garden soil she used Mittleider fertilizer on both. I contact her. She said she stopped using the sawdust. She said her neighbors were doing the same. Video is 8 years old. Channel name, Moms Simple Life.

I tried the Perlite. Did not keep the moisture out. I believe it is the magnesium in the Epsom Salt, that attracts the moisture. So mixing in the Epsom Salt in the already ready fertilizer mix, when you get read to apply is the way to go in humid climates.

I tried them once, liked the results so well, I never bought them again .. I should explain. I interplant alfalfa and clover throughout the garden, but especially along the edges, where the critters like to stop for a nibble .. in the open .. _before_ they can get to the rest of the garden. I hear some places its going for 27 bucks for a 40# bag this year . My #1 hot tip for getting your own supply started: Get small quantities of a variety of alfalfa strains, mix a few different clovers in there, too .. then rough up the ground and sow. One variety will like a particular spot where another won't .. nature wants to work that way, so I figure, why fight her? She was going to win, anyway. Cut your own alfalfa and clover fertilizer fresh every year .. and save the money for buying more cool rare plants and trees 😊🌳🧙🏻‍♂️
