This is a really pretty game! I feel like I could spend hours exploring with the creatures and beautiful soundtrack. I've seen this is a very mixed game in the series and lacks certain aspects from the older games. I'm going to get it to try for myself and because I've really missed this series...

Character designer John guy made some of the worst character designs ever and is also pushing pronoun garbage. Typical white saviours feeling virtuous after pushing agendas in game trailer and character selection screen.
It comes off as arrogant to try convincing consumers your product has more nuance when the trailer you produced, wrote, and animated is so negatively received. The game could be good but I'll never play it because this team seems to have their heads up their asses.

@@formulacoolade already did and gave the beta keys to my friends. Halo/Destiny movement and gunplay, yes please. Where else can you get that, Halo and Destiny are dead. Open beta is coming too, so you don't have to pay anything to try the game out.
Can't believe how long ago it was but I fondly remember Game On at the museum in Edinburgh about 20 year ago. They had the pokemon game on the n64 where you could talk to pikachu, thought it was witchcraft. Just could not comprehend how something like that was even possible (even if it wasn't that responsive)... due to finances I was always a generation or so behind so things like Tony Hawk (4?) on gamecube was also mind-blowing when I only had the ps1 version at home. So glad it's not just like one weekend

I still don't understand the value this has for being a paid game when F2P hero shooters are on the rise again with Marvel Rivals looking more ambitious with the dstruction and such. It also doesn't do anything to really stand out and is another shooter. If it was melee focused or something different, I could see the appeal. I'm currently playing Star Wars Hunters on my phone, and I don't see why I should pay on top of paying extra for IAP for something that seems marginally better. Star Wars Hunters level design seems more interesting too.
The fact that it's paid is an enticing factor. It might not be to player who doesn't spend much money but it is to people who do spend money. There's also a open beta that can prove to these people whether the game is good or not.
@@SDFutureMusic I'm definitely going to try the Beta. I'm hoping that since it is paid that it will do more than the other F2P hero shooters. I hope there are more regular updates and the game doesn't focus on grinding. Splatoon 2 was one of my most fun moments playing a game so I'm not fully against a paid ongoing game. I think it is more I keep looking at Marvel Heroes and it looks a lot more interesting while being free. Helldivers 2 also looks like a ton of fun, but I don't have friends to play.

No. The only reason Journalists even beat the game was because they used spirit ashes and summons. The reason From Software fans are upset about the game is because they want to beat bosses solo but the dlc isnt balanced around it. It is balanced around you summoning ashes and watching them do all the work

It's not that hard bro. It's a "difficult" game for mainstream casual players. If you want real difficulty, go play any Ninja Gaiden on hard mode. Even Razor's Edge on normal difficulty is harder than Elden Ring.

I don't wanna be harsh, but I don't see how this game is going to be able to compete with the strong competition it has. This game doesn't do anything different than other games in the genre, and the players from other games are not just gonna quit those games to play this one.
It does everything different. It's not a locked role type of shooter, like Overwatch. It has top in class gunplay, which you literally can't say for 98% of FPS on the market. Y'all who says this game is too similar to competition have clearly never played an FPS in your life except for Overwatch, which this game couldn't be more different. R6, Valorant, XDefiant, Overwatch are all hero shooters and yet they're ALL different genres of FPS.
The gunplay is literally miles better than Overwatch and most hero shooters. And this game has no ultimates unlike every other one in the genre
Look at the finals!!! It’s one of the best free to play fps games: it’s different, it’s fast, you need skill, learning curve is big and it feels amazing and still low Playerbase you ask why? Because the most players want something they already know. Concord is mixed with:destiny, overwatch. If you are a gamer play the beta you will see before you judge a game that you never played. Don’t listen to all these KZreadrs because the most of them swimming with the wave! Just try the beta and if you don’t like it leave and play something else. I’m happy to play a game like this it looks for me interesting.

There are definitely a lot of other hero shooters and PVP shooters around right now, but VERY few of them are aiming to have that Arena-shooter gameplay style that Halo evolved from earlier games like Quake. Destiny is the main game that offers that at the moment, but has so much additional baggage attached that can be heavily offputting to newcomers. Most of the other popular games right now are aiming for more of a MOBA structure (overwatch, Rivals) tactical CS style (Valorant) or are dipping into other genres like battle royale or extraction. I'm somebody that enjoys hero shooters, but grew up loving arena shooters. So this definitely has some heavy appeal to me and looks to be tackling an itch that nothing else is quite scratching right now!
Was there any gyro features natively?
I really don't understand why there is no pve story mode in this game. In comparison with Marvel Rivals we have the concord characters who the only kind of backstory introduced in the showcase vs the marvel characters which backstory had introduced through many hours through comics, movies and shows.
We have plenty of single player games we don't need more
@@Thepvpguy128 a game for providing just a pvp experience needs to have build its cosmos: characters and lore. Marvel rivals already had done it through the comics , movies and shows . If the ones who manage concord dont want for less than 1000 players to play it, they need to produce a mini story mode.
@grgamer8470 apex For example doesn't have any story mode to it and it gets thousands of players so you are wrong.
@@Thepvpguy128 they explain every character in every trailer thought. There was a free to play game with mechs called " Hawken" ( it still exists in a smaller form at ps store) that didnt need to provide back story to play and enjoy the mech battles. There also was a free to play spaceship battle game called " Dreadnought". The specific game needed the pve mode but never had it and they shut it down too.

@panpan1985 you do realize that pvp dominates the gaming industry. It won't be as big as fortnite or apex but ill do just fine.
@@Thepvpguy128 I never said PVP is not a thriving gameplay style/genre, I specifically said F2P BRs/Hero Shooters that are like MHUR, GunEvo, GBO2, etc, (which are died or dying) will die out quick because it will most likely be a meh game or monetization heavy and die that way.
There should be able to revive a teammate in the no respawn mode.
