Excellent tutorial! You explained EVERY step in such detail, that one could simply open AE for the first time ever and get the same result. I recommend watching at 1.25x the speed, though :) Cheers!

Totally great tutorial - thank you! Really clear explanation for a beginner like me. Splitting the horizontal and vertical motions in the graph editor to smooth out the motion in the apex has all sorts of future applications for me. Best of all, I can hear your dog bark at 23:13

can you put an image behind this rather than a black background???
@RolloDescendant4 жыл бұрын
Yes you can. You simply import an image and pull it down to the left area where you pulled the image of the ball. The ball should be the first image and then the other you can resize to be the full background. If you don't want to accidentally drag the background you will want to select the icon of the lock and you should be good to go.

Good tutorial. Not too brief and not too drawn out. If you had a sexy voice it would have been a straight 10/10.

great tip - thank you! question - how would i add an orientation control (angles) to this rig for camera rolling functionality?
@JoelHoweDotCom7 жыл бұрын
Good question! Check out the LookAt constraint for the camera in the motion tab of the command panel. I am guessing the "upnode" is set to be the world, but you could change that to say the point that the camera is looking at. Then any rotations of the point (rolling) would be seen in the camera as well.
