I actually thought about getting those wheels on my 2016 LS 460 because I like to always make my vehicle my own , i like it to be different, so I did buy the 20" LS 500 wheels and it looks amazing , and just like you i decided to go with the 460 instead of the LS500 because i wanted the legendary last samurai V8 ! ..

Good video but I love and i will keep my 2023 Lexus GX460 with the sport package, I bought it because of the V8, the luxury features like wood in the steering wheel - witch the GX550 doesn’t have - and specially the reliability behind the LEXUS brand

OUTSTANDING REVIEW , Performance Lexus I’m particularly impressed by your explanation of the Adaptive High-beam System. First, I’m in the U.S. (New Jersey). We’ve had at least one Lexus in the family since the brand came out. I personally have had Lexus exclusively for over 20 years, and want to trade up from my 2013 GS to a new RX. I would buy a new one today, if I could get it with the AHS. The laws in U.S. changed a couple of years ago to allow adaptive lights, but I’m having a hard time finding out when the Lexus will be available with these lights. I haven’t seen anything about the 2025 RX at US dealers, and if it will have this option . The 2024 RX has the triple LED light, but it only has the automatic high beam switch, not the adaptive one. Is it possible that the U.S. 2024 has the same hardware that the Canadian 2024, but the only difference is software which controls the lights? If so, maybe I can get the 2024/2025 U.S. RX, and get the full adaptive capability when it is ready in the U.S. with a software update? Can you point me in a direction that would give detail of the AHS, and the thr ee LED lights.

The "modern" Lexus LS is a joke. For basic explanation, it looks like an ES, it's missing the V8 that's expected from an LS, and the naming makes no sense. Why call it "LS500" ?! Nothing about it is 5 or 500. It's not the 5th generation, it does NOT have 5.0L of displacement, it does NOT have 500 horsepower or 500 lbs of torque. The 5.0L V8 should have been put in the LS500, no excuses. Nobody wanted the V6, it should have stayed a non-LS option only. I'd buy a well-maintained LS400 before I'd buy an LS500... although I wouldn't buy an LS500 anyway.

When you ask "what's a better buy?" and within 24 hours, they issue a stop-sale on both. Makes it kinda easy to decide, since you can't buy either right now. P.S. the Lexus is much better.

Does this RX have the Adaptive High-beam System , the one that uses Bladescan technology? This the one that dims your high beams only in the direction of the oncoming car, leaving full light on in all the other directions. I’m a GS owner looking to get a new RX, but I want this revolutionary lighting system on my car.

IMO Lexus F-Sport is a dumb added expense. The bigger wheels and stiffer suspension work against the excellent ride quality Lexus is known for. Lexus isn't a performance sports car brand, they are a luxury car with a plush quiet ride and isolation from the road. F Sport makes for a rougher noisier experience.

The CarCareNut is an expert mechanic specializing in Toyota/Lexus. They share many platform similarities and Toyota quality is superb. However he states Lexus bumps quality up another notch. They have much superior insulation and ride dampening. Obviously the interior is more plush. But they often share much of the same drivetrains and engines as their Toyota counterpart, making servicing and long term maintenance simpler and cheaper than most luxury brands. This vid is a good comparison of the interior, tech, and ride differences

If the 11th digit of your VIN is a C, it was built on the exact same assembly line as the RAV4, in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada.

Enjoyed the comparison but I would have preferred side by side between a top trim Platinum GH against a base model TX, since they will be around the same price range. As it is, it’s shocking the Lexus doesn’t blow the GH out of the water for $20k more.
