You could have just used some crazy glue and not gone thru all this trouble

If you have had experience with this you would not say that, but most likely because you have no skill set in this area glue would be easier for you but I promise if you gave it a shot the sturdiness and hardness makes it feel like it was never broke buddy plus it will give you a longer permanent fix than just bullshit glue and epoxy shit they sell. Staples and plastic weld is much more aturdy

I really like your curiosity. The comments from your participants are highly reasoned and generally relevant to better execution of tests. MERCI PS.... can we have your email address to suggest a DIY and include a photo of the details ?

Should have run the drill at a slower speed for the tumbler, or otherwise as shown in the video everything stays in one place and doesn't get moved around which is the whole point of doing it.

Very cool, kool, and even kewl ways to deal w/ cracked/broken plastic... I say this as I own a P/U Truck that's from the mid90's which has broken plastic on the dash. It's the plastic that goes around the instruments/gauges, & the air conditioning vents except no one sells the replacement piece that I need. I looked hard back in 2014-16 but found no one making this piece that goes across the whole front of the dash & they've never got one in the junk yards that isn't already broken. All that said, this might just offer me a way to fix it but after that IDKnow if I can do much about the colors b/c part is a fake wood grain type finish but if I can't put it back together I'll be happy enough. Thanks again for this solution. peace
