After using vinegar you gotta cover them in baking soda to nuturalize the vinegar. So just use black molasses n water and nothing else to remove water

Sand blasting would give better results !
Demasiado complejo, mejor comprar piezas nuevas 😂
16 hours later when your drill runs oot
I could have been to the hardware store and back with brand new fasteners in the amount of time this video took.
thank you for this. when money is extinct and I cant just go and buy new like others say, I have knowledge to do what you showed.
Ficaram novas. Simples.
I just soak mine in phosphoric acid.
Wow! The idea is so great, congratulations
Might be good for drill driver bits when they get wet and rusty. Yuppers 👍👍
and after? Will i bath the "screws" in oil or how do i protect them from new rust?

You can proceed with copper plating, or zinc plating
Reminds me of old YT videos where a guy takes apart a lighter; and with some plastic parts, batteries, and loads of hot glue makes...another lighter! Not new inventions, just reinventing the wheel!
Should have run the drill at a slower speed for the tumbler, or otherwise as shown in the video everything stays in one place and doesn't get moved around which is the whole point of doing it.

Ok, Nice to meet you!
Nothing new or better than we all already know, and that is: Cheap rust removal method: Vinegar Expensive rust removal method: Evapo-Rust Fast rust removal method: HCL After any of the mentioned methods, wire brushing or sanding is still required. And then, some protection for the metal is needed, such as: paint, wax, varnish, shellac, glue, grease, oil, plating, hot bluing.
Beyond just teaching us how to remove rust effectively, this video imparts valuable lessons in resourcefulness and creativity. It reminds us that solutions to common problems can often be found within our own homes, using simple ingredients and tools. This not only saves us money but also encourages us to think outside the box and find innovative solutions to everyday challenges. Thank you for this enlightening and practical tutorial!
A lot of time spent, a lot of resources, not worth it. Author do not know basic chemistry at all. Any supermarket - “Bar Keeper Friend” will do that job cheeper and faster.

I use vinegar all the time for rust removal. What's with all the poison? You can zinc plate them faster than that mess.

Click on "Transcript" above. Mostly obvious, but what does it cost for all of the materials and do the parts stay free of rust once stored? In my experience they do not!

Absolutely....just soak over night in vinegar and salt solution, longer if required, scrub with wire brush..then soak of in water and baking soda to wash of. Finally rinse under running water and dry. Works like a charm....literally turns tools, bolts back to almost brand new

Sai mais barato comprar parafusos novos
Just buy a rust removal spray; is cheaper, faster and less effort from you. Your solution make no sense: you spent so much time, so many chemicals, so much efforts, so much money to clean few screws😂😂😂

The best way to remove rust just doak overnight in coconut oil. Afterwards store these nuts, bolts and screw in a container with talcum powder. These won't get rusted. Such a complicated long process is Unnecessary.

What was that last step supposed to accomplish? They looked better before you put them through the last step. It doesn't look like you blued them.
Time wasting and money making from wasted timers!
The process is too complicated and expensive to remove, and you can do it with an electric drive or a bush 😊

Can I use copper acetate instead of copper sulfate?
@JoeA1974
No. The sulphur in the CuSO⁴ liberates the oxygen from the iron oxide exposed and bonds to form iron sulfide with the free iron particles. Copper acetate is just repeating the vinegar step with the addition of copper. Without clean metal and electrolysis it would be just wasted materials.
That process takes much to long and involves the use of harsh chemicals. There are much easier processes that use natural ingredients that are not harmful to you or the enviroment, so no need for PPE. You can also just use a wire brush chucked into a drill press or secure hand drill. I've been restoring hundreds of antique handtools for years now and if I used your method, I'd still be work on the first one. You also need to disclose your process as you go along. If you do not speak the common language of English, then type out your process and translate it into English. Google has this service free to use. Most countries teach English as a second language so most foreigners use it in there videos if they want to reach a wider audience.

Tooooo much messing about…just soak them in vinegar overnight…no need to heat..

Here I introduce how to do it. In company, the number of bolts and screws that need to be processed is probably several hundred Kg
Better to buy new ones..... torturous process
Looking wastage of money and time Chemicals and materials are more costly than the rusted junk

Tanta vaina. Mejor comprar nuevas.
Only vinegar is done total 80% of work other chemical is just useless here
Good results but better and easier processes are there.Extremely lengthy process, time consuming because of bad editing and torture to make as well as watch. I really the video on X1.75.
