New subscriber, great work!
Thanks 👍
Lookin' good. You look right at home in the driver's seat. Wally is quite a rig.
Sweet bus/ coach/ camper...Amazing amount of work..Lots a work Iam sure..ton of it..
That is great, does it slide both ways or only 1. What is the space lost at the bottom of your bay?
Thanks Jon, Being it’s a bed slide only designed to slide one way, but after looking over it can be made to slide both ways easily with slight modification. The minimal lost of bay space is no comparison to convenience gained. I also positioned to one side to allow for propane tanks and other storage.
@busnutbiker sounds good, I also have been thinking of getting one or making one. Our propane tanks are in the rear bay behind the battery compartment. That's why I am thinking it would be grand to be able to be pulled out on either side. But then, I have yet decide what to keep in that bay. We have only done some limited excursions so far. 2 local bus rallys and 3 short camps. Planning on some serious travel starting in July or August.
Nice score. That'll come in very handy.
Cool
Congratulations! Job well done!
Wow, looks great, you just need to put in a set of handlebars and the sound of a V twin on the radio.
That is a mighty fine looking rig.
Nice looking/sounding bus.
Awesome video. She is out on the road. Looking and sounding great. You did awesome work on those 3 years
Very very nice bus!!!
Looking good sir. So happy for you.
Beautiful 4104, love hearing that 6-71, nothing sounds like a Detroit. I look forward to seeing more of your progress!
Looks great! Nice job. Hard work paid off.
I don’t recall seeing you replace the windshields. Where did you get new glass?
No luckily my windshields are still in great shape, but I do need to replace the rubber at some point. Not looking forward to that.
Wally sure does look good. Great job.
Amazing work.:) Very nice indeed.:)
You’re lucky you have a Trailways bus. It has the higher gear ratio differential like mine. It should cruise at 70 all day long. Thanks!
Thanks Rodney It’s crazy this thing will run well past 85mph on flat ground no problem, probably cause it so much lighter than it was from the factory now and the gearing. But 70mph seems to be its sweet spot.
@@busnutbiker That’s mine’s sweet spot also.
Nice work on the restoration of the 04, now get out and enjoy the open roads! I owned a PD4106 number 1074 for 25 years travelled a lot of miles with my bluegrass band on board. Never once got left on the road a couple of times I limped home but we always made it home! Enjoy !
Congratulations! You did an amazing job!
Sure is nice to see Wally stretching his legs!
Are you going to run a Singlehead mini split or dual
Just a single head, so far does great.
Wow, she is looking good... now, take some time and go enjoy her. I'm sad to say we sold our 1951, Gm 4103, back in December after 12 yrs of fun and a lot of miles...we miss her.....nice job with old wally....
Gee mate it's good to see Wally B out stretching his legs. You did a fantastic job.
Congratulations Wally looks amazing! I can't wait to see you take it places and enjoy all your hard work!! ❤ :)
Man, that sound brings back memories. In the late 70s and early 80s, between the ages of 15 and 21, I spent many hours, first riding in, and later driving a 4104. Listening to this video, I was suddenly a teenager again. Thanks for taking me back!
Looks great going down the highway!
man you got ole wally b looking good, i dont know where you live but thats some pretty country to be driving in
You've worked hard for 3 years. Lots of patience and time. Small steps added up over time, and now the payoff when you can begin to enjoy the fruits of your labor. I'm sure there's still finishing work to do, but that'll go fast. Enjoy and roll up the miles. 👍👍
Very nice!
Great update. I didn’t know those windows opened like that. Really cool
I have the same window in my 4104. What weather stripping did you use? Great job!!
Its just a matter of taking your time and doing it little by little But shes looking good🙂
must be a custom option, only thing i've ever seen open over there is the toll window in the bottom
One small project at a time. Your patience and skill have brought you so far. I always appreciate your attention to detail as well. Keep moving forward sir👍
Your attention to detail is making this a first class restoration
Nice. Adding some driver comfort while keeping wind and water out.
