GM 4104 Vintage Bus Wally B… Diablos In The Details Ep. 106

A lot of these buses in their life as a conversion, they lose a lot of the original trim pieces and seats and overhead structures and different things.
So where I find that I can use some of the original parts and pieces I’ve tried to clean them up and reuse them.
To realize that you do not understand is a virtue; Not to realize that you do not understand is a defect.

Dude, I'm really loving this whole build, nice attention to detail with the diamond plate. I found a decent 4104 down Fla way on the cheap, think it would clean up nice, but I need another bus, like I need a hole in the head, so I'll just watch you turn yours into a masterpiece😎

Thanks Bill, I won’t say never, but I don’t think I’ll ever have another bus that’s not turn key ready. This bus was sold as road ready but it was far from it. And I just didn’t know enough at the time to just walk away. With that said though I’m glad to be at this point with this bus, cause when I rewatch videos I can’t believe how much work I’ve done to it so far. Soon as I can afford new front tires I’ll be ready for some weekend runs to start working the bugs out.

What a beautiful entrance you have created. You packaged it in a 7-minute video, but you must have put 180 hours of work into it? But: a fantastic result!

Yeah he is, but it looks like you have his details handled pretty well. That's one clean driver's area and entry. Matches the rest of the bus... clean.

Man that looks great. Have you had to replace any body panels? Looking for advice on my 4104.

Thanks, No thankfully none of the body panels need replaced or had holes cut in them. I did have to cover the ac and vent holes in the roof though.
