I went through hurricane Ian during that time one of the worst hurricanes ever hit Florida in years he took his time when he hit Florida. He stalled on Florida for two days. That’s how bad the destruction and damage left behind

This is great video of Ian’s impact on Ft Myers. Have relatives who lived there during this and they thankfully stayed with us up north while it hit. When they returned home they barely had a home left.

Why would ANYONE stay on those shores during a hurricane. Let alone the state!

Ian would have destroyed the Lower Keys and it was only a miracle that it turned to the North. We are really just getting back to normal after Irma. This video is heartbreaking.

I got sooooo seasick watching this 🤢! Excellent images, but my stomach couldn't handle well. It has been interesting learning about Ian and then getting slammed by that surge, which made me feel like my tummy ...... uh. Great post, truly.

Bruh this was on my bday, I used to go to Ami and hang out with all the homeless people on the lee Tran back in 2011 this was the craziest thing that has happened to lee county and rip to everyone that passed away, I know it was lot more than what the news says it was, I literally remember that red house on stilts must of been a horrifying last minutes 😢

Growing up hearing the weatherman warn us to stay away from the coast to avoid the storm surge, I could have never comprehended how truly devastating and dangerous it was until I saw this video. 😱

Oh my god that's horrible ! At 4:18:24 you can see the people inside the house fighting against the nature through the window and then house is gone with people inside !!!! I think we just saw someone dying at that moment. I just hope the people inside survive even if the chances are few. But seriously that one hell of a footage !!! That just breath taking !!!

this is fascinating. I always watch the weather channel when they cover tragic events like this. But they don’t shut up.. This video on the other hand is like watching a Hitchcock movie. Hitchcock said that the bang isn’t what scares people, it’s the anticipation. This video, has heaps of anticipation.
