Lots of words, little essence. Catering for feelings of big business executives to "fix" "agile" transformations they screwed up earlier, without really understanding what agile is and how to leverage it in an enterprise environment. Not addressing the core issue of legacy budgeting practices that run contrary to the agile practices.

Hi Sheila, wonder if Lucid allows you to map process while you are executing them. For example, processing an account opening, where you need to take data from a front application, then type it into a CIF application of a core system, then sending an email, etc. Does it follow your manual steps and document them with flows? I know that there are others that provide that service, thanks in advance.
Hi! Unfortunately it is not that sophisticated. Having a software document the process while running would be a dream. For now, we need to document every step and then use Lucid to map it out. Great question!
You are paying for the benefit, so it's a choice, like any other. You know the consequences. While I do not like Amazon and feel they are failing in every space they occupy, committing crimes against worker's, their Prime program is fair. You can still get free shipping and lower prices without it. I have been an Amazon customer for over 25 years, the past 5 years reluctantly. But, I have two accounts, one where I've activated Prime and one where I didn't, and I never saw an instance where being a Prime customer had discounted anything more than non-prime. Equity is a socialist construct.
100% with you Paul. I am not an Amazon shopper and that is indeed by choice. I guess what I found a bit troubling while shopping at Whole Foods was how "in-your-face" Amazon has become about Prime...making sure you know that you are not as appreciated without the Prime membership. Not really customer friendly. Cheerio!
Great video! Thank you So much.
Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to write a comment ♥️
🍏'31 Thank you I'm in my GB BB training, it simplify my thoughts by this, realize that my current company adapt agile coz we are being forced to execute requirements with precision with no desire
I really enjoyed this video, it’s very easy to understand
it's very clear, thank you!
Thank you!!!☺
Great content and explanation
Thank you for the taking the time to send me a note
Connected the dots in a very simple yet effective. Thank you. Now this tells the story on how to do agile right beyond IT.
Thank you!!!
@@sheilashaffie-processarc1873 hats off- greeting from Dubai
Hi Sheila, hope you are doing great, I'm an Agile consultant and would like to bring a twist in Agile by implementing Lean six sigma at every level of scrum, should I opt the certification for betterment of my Consulting journey, I'll wait for your kind response I'm sorry if my question sounds stupid but as you are an experienced professional its always wise to ask. Regards, Rahul
Hello to you Rahul! It is actually an excellent question. I have always believed that the most successful Agile projects incorporate some level of Lean Six Sigma thinking into them - they clearly articulate the problem at hand and the solutions that would deliver value to the key stakeholders & customers. Scrum masters & agile practitioners typically work on the assumption that process owners & lines of business have really thought through their requirements and solutions. But that is not always the case putting the risk (and blame) on Agile & Scrum practitioners when things don't go right.
@@sheilashaffie-processarc1873 Thankyou so much for taking out a time for answering to my question,
Thankyou for strengthening my thoughts, I feel like how can I justify that im thinking right, but a teacher like you saying so then its a proof I'm on a right track
Hello Sheila, Thanks for the Really best information. I have a doubt, I am 10 Years of IT technical experience and working as a Network Engineer. In the IT industry, ITIL certification is most considerable. If I do the Lean Six Sigma Green and Black belt both; does it help me to get a boost in my IT career?
Ashish - I am so very sorry for my tardy reply. We interface with IT professionals on a daily basis and while I think Lean Six Sigma can certainly be an asset what I think may give you a bigger boost is Agile. And on the technical side would be Cisco (CCNA, CCIE & CCNP), Python, AWS...type certifications. Good luck & thank you for watching

Hi i join black belt hope is well
It would be very interesting, if you talk about the TLS metodology (TOC Lean Six Sigma), it seems to me very interesting and logical. Thank you and congrats for for videos.
Hi El Cid. Thanks for the note. You have to help me a little here...what is the TLS methodology? I am not familiar with these acronyms? Thanks much.
Hi @@sheilashaffie-processarc1873 , Thank you for your answer, As I've written before, is the acronym of "TOC, Lean & Six Sigma" = TLS, and TOC is the Theory of Constraints. Thanks again!
This helped a lot ty!
Wow i think u have saved me 10 years of running around like a chicken with my head cut off in less than 10 mins. ( watched at x2 speed 😆 ) I am dumbfounded, THANK YOU for what you do!

Is a Project mandatory if we go for ASQ Six sigma certification Green Belt?
Hi Chandrashekhar. No a project is not mandatory...but a project will really help you apply the concepts to a real life situation. Either way, good luck, hope you get the certification
@@sheilashaffie-processarc1873 Thank a lot

Hi Fahad. Thank you for the note and sharing all your great news. The US is certainly the land of opportunity, so between your GB certification & Master's degree there will be no shortage of opportunities for you. Please keep in touch and in the meantime, I wish you all the best. Sheila

Great content 👏🏾👏🏾
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you
and what is the cost.... approximately... ballpark... thank you
asq.org/training/lean-six-sigma Here is a link to ASQ's pricing and course duration. It is important to pick training that is for your industry (financial, healthcare, manufacturing...) and then figure out which level would best work for you - Green or Black Belt. Good luck and let me know if you any other questions.
Hi, where to go to get certified? thank you
Hi! American Society for Quality (ASQ) is a recognized and respected globally. They offer the training and certification. If you are going to spend the time and money that would be my choice. But if it doesn't fit your budget, there are 'cheaper' options.

Dr. Burns. Thank you for your comment. I am not sure why any rational person would argue against platform that provides a structured way of problem solving and critical thinking. Organizations fail at many things and on many levels - it is ridiculous to blame a methodology like Lean Six Sigma for their failures. And as you probably well know, we can use numbers and stats in any way we want (truthful or not) to demonstrate a point. If you don't agree with the methodology or our content, you are more than welcome to stop watching.
@@sheilashaffie-processarc1873 Why would any "rational person" believe a con man's SCAM?
Hi Sheila, Thanks for such an wonderful presentation. Currently pursuing PgLSS and this video would be saved in my gallery for future undertakings. Requesting your expert suggestion further in the best institutes to go ahead with the Data Analytics courses that can help me long way in six sigma career. Thanks
Hi Avik, thanks for the note. For Data Analytics the question is do you want to build technical depth or be on the strategic side of things? If your focus is technical depth then consider programs offered Google & Microsoft like Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, or Azure data scientist cert. You cannot go wrong with those as these certs are recognized globally. If you want to be more on the strategic side of things - consider a high-ranking university that offers online courses like UC Berkley Data Strategy Online Cert Course or Wharton's Data Analytics. I think MIT offers something too. If you are going to spend your time and money let's make sure that you get the highest return on your investment.

Starting yellow belt training now in the finance industry . Is there any way I could speak with you for career advice?
That is great news. Happy to chat. 🙂
I work in selling commercial insurance. Will six sigma green belt help me to get a better opportunity and increased pay?
Hi Mirza. The training and certification will certainly make you more marketable - if you decide to stay in sales, then I would position myself more towards "sales enablement" roles. There your new skills will help you excel. Good Luck!!!
I just want to say, you're videos are really helpful. I learn a lot, please be frequent and your Channel will grow 🌿
Thank you for the positive feedback. I will get back to creating more content!
I am a six sigma white belt holder and am pursuing for yellow belt thank you for your motivation, this video was really helpful to me keep rocking .
That is excellent news! Good for you Sathya. It never hurts to upskill. Keep it up
If Amazon Prime is such a great deal why do they have to con people into joining?
Great question! Everyone likes to feel like they are getting a deal or are part of a club. What we fail to realize is that we are paying a price for it. You pay to be part of the Amazon Prime club and you only save by spending more money.
Fantastic lesson... Thx Sheila....
Wonderful explanation... easy to understand and very useful for business process analysis....keep it up Sheila....
Thank you so much for the kind word
Great explanation on integrating agile in to DMAIC framework.
